TBG
Could see their new owners going for Howe given what he's achieved with a club that was flirting with relegation for years.
La Parka
Think they are making a mistake. Their squad is a piece of shit and dyche was doing well considering what they were relying on. Swap him in the summer.
astraguy
Wasn't it Moyes who came out on a podcast last year , saying he'd never go back into management for a team in a relegation scrap ?

They may as well take a punt on someone new, even if its a new manager bounce for a few games. Dyche had them with 3 wins in 19 games and 15 goals scored, it was utter shit. It doesn't make much sense sticking with that.
Cronky
I think Everton will go down now. Really bad decision.

Dyche had to deal with point reductions and a net spend of minus £73m in his two seasons there. given the quality of their squad and being forced to sell, he did a pretty good job to keep them up. Nine
I think there is a good chance that this is the season Everton will finally go, their squad is awful but I’d have expected Dyche to get enough out of them to stay up. Just look at their players.. they can’t be expected to play positively so surely the new manager will be of the same defensive, grindy mould? I’d have just stuck with Dyche. It’ll be Moyes I reckon. Sacked a few hours before a game with all the shit he’s dealt with there to.. Edited January 9 by Nine
AyeDubbleYoo
Surely there’s no point in replacing Dyche with Moyes?

Ameritoon
It's definitely a risk to sack Dyche and leaving a manager with a Dyche squad, but they've scored something like 6 goals since mid-October. Had to be done.
Ronson333
We’ve got Everton at home last game of the season 😀

Pilko
Dyche would have 0-0'd them to safety, just, I think. Moyes will do it slightly more comfortably if he gets it.
Jonas
They just don't suit being expansive as a team or club, so hopefully the new owners are ignorant enough to try just that.
Alan Pardew
I should send my resume.
La Parka
Their squad is arguably worse than Southampton imo. Actually that's bullshit 😂 They are missing mcneal who would have turned these 0-0 into the odd 1-0. He's been playing a back 4 with an average age of 700 and grinding results. Apart from McNeal all their forwards and midfielders are fucking shit. Dyche will be the new allardyce. Probably will take over from Ruud when they punt him in a few months. SiLvOR
They should have been gone like 4 seasons ago. Every fucking year somehow scrape up enough points with the worst football in the league. Come on. Surely this is the time

Wouldn’t be able to unfortunately. I’ve got a mate who’s an Everton STH who I always meet up with whenever we play them, he’s spending the whole weekend of the last day of the season up here as it’s bank holiday weekend. Wouldn’t be able to bask in the schadenfreude too much. Regardless, don’t see them going down anyway. They’ve got some kind of blood magic going on where they’re not allowed to be relegated no matter how shit they are.
