Don't think mid-to-long term its a game changer for Everton at all, but for Moyes himself it's a decent gig. He'll keep them up, probably have a little bit more to spend (I assume) with the new owners, and take them into the new stadium next year.

No FFP issues will remain for a few years. Wages too high, revenue too low.

Don't they have a huge number of players that have their contacts running out this season? Obviously that creates it's own problems though.

Now debt free and about to move into an upgraded stadium though, that will help massively for the 25/26 season.

Debt isn’t a massive issue for FFP (minus the new interest stuff).

They were paying Ben Godfrey obscene amounts of money among others.

Surprised me he took it because I'd read this quotes when they came out!

That said, I thought he has already returned to Everton lol. I think he will steer the ship to avoid relegation. Too much other chaff in the league. With the new ownership and if he secures premiership status I would think he could get them in the right direction like he did West Ham.

Arsenal vs Tottenham tonight is a huge game for both managers, as well as a derby. Should be an interesting watch.

That'd normally mean it's a 0-0 but that doesn't feel possible with Tottenham playing.

Can't be 0-0, Arteta has already called for the mother of all atmospheres
