Moose
This is absolutely sensational. A friend of mine who is a Celtic fan said the only reason he got the gig is cause his assistant knows Paul Tisdale (former Exeter manager who is Celtic sporting director) Tisdale only got the gig because he met Gavin Strachan at a wedding. Gavin Strachan only got the job because he's the son of Gordon Strachan Gordon Strachan got the Celtic job cause he played golf with their majority shareholder. Celtic are an incredibly successful club but they're ran like a bowling club. If Hearts don't win the league this year after their two biggest rivals hired absolute spoofers like Nancy and Russell Martin then I don't know what more it'll take! Deuce
Don’t think I fully internalized that Pep has been at ManCity since 2016. Last decade has been a time warp.

When we get beat by City it feels like being slowly suffocated and swallowed by an Anaconda. A completely unenjoyable and fruitless experience. 0 stars, would not recommend. That game they beat us 1-0 at their place in 2023 being the prime example

Cf
If you got to choose the 3 teams to go down then the current bottom 3 is basically perfect isn't it?

Optimistic Nut
From a security perspective, he's probably thinking if he goes up with Boro, they'll struggle and he'll be out by October next season. If he goes to Wolves, they're expected to go down, he should get them up.first time, then he'll be out in October a year later. 12 months extra wages in the bank. His reputation was rock bottom when he was involved in Lutons double relegation, Middlesbrough took a chance on him and TBF he had a good start, he was then arrogant enough to think he'd repeat that in the EPL with Wolves. Deuce
Doubt there are many managers who’d turn down an opportunity to manage a PL club. Don’t think it’s arrogance at all.
