The media are begging for more trouble.

What I don't get is how last years incident was widely reported, however a year or so ago Sunderland fans pushed down a dividing wall, vandalised and tried to steal a police van, throw bricks at both opposition supporters and police. Yet the only reports of it were videos on youtube taken by people who were there.

Brown I think will tighten up their CB positions, however if Remy and Ben Arfa try then they will have all the fun they want on the wings and the way both players cut in central means that the Sunderland CB's will be overloaded with NUFC players to mark up on and should just take them out of the picture.

There is no pace in their defence is there, so Remy, Ben Arfa and Gouffran should take full advantage of that.

None at all. I have only two worries in this game.

1. We don't close down and allow them to shoot like we did at SJP last season.

2. Ben Arfa and Remy don't switch the ball quick enough when they are doubled up upon.

If Brown still has the athletisism he used to I fear he might strengthen them more than we would like...provided he doesn't collapse after 5 minutes.

Even if he plays just 60 mins and stops them imploding he'd have done a job. It's probably a better option for them than going with the current losers.

I refuse to have the slightest amount of confidence or suggest any kind of method to win. I don't believe in superstitions or that there's any kind of cosmic order, like. I'm just even more cautious with what I say than I was before we lost last season, and even then I was really, really cautious. I was still really worried at 3-0 in the 5-1 for example.

For once we had hope.

For once we had a real revolution.

For once the club was vibrant.

For once we were at the centre of the football worlds attention.

For once we had real passion.

But now it's gone.

This won't be a one year Championship jaunt that we are facing now.

It will be the dawning of a new era of nothingness.

We deserve it for not standing by him.

The club, the players and a lot of the fans did this without even thinking of the alternatives.

We've shit the bed now it's time to lay in it.

Not sure what to make of this, a poem perhaps?
