Ashley17
No CBs on the bench. They'll be trying to injure ours then. Fuck knows what we'd do. Consult Skirge for his book of tactics which involve one centre back probably.
Guest DebuchyAndTheBeast
I think that a Willo - Dummett partnership will struggle against pace rather than power and strength but let's just wait and see how it goes
Cajun
As short as Dummett is we have a 6ft 1 full back next to him so hopefully that will even if up a bit.
Ryan
Dummett did well against a far superior team last week so it's not all bad, let's just see how it goes. Look at what we have up front and in the midfield too, we should be in control for most of the match.
Smal
Have to keep the ball up the pitch then because our defence won't be up to much.
Chrisjraby
Hope Tiote doesn't play any backpasses today . Also, nice to see we've got a nice Newcastle friendly line up on Sky today; Quinn and Souness
Amir_9
Must must must beat this lot, they have been a shambles this season.
Yorkie
Good thing we sold Perch for a bag of crisps, like.
Dave
Full squads now in the match thread.
jdckelly
ugh Quinn (don't mind Souness as a pundit) btw Sky would it hurt to talk about the game actually on first?
ponsaelius
Good thing we sold Perch for a bag of crisps, like. I'd be just as worried with Perch and Williamson at CB.
relámpago blanco
Giaccherini on the bench, he's there best player this season
themanupstairs
Get into them fuck them up Doesn't matter what side we put out. The bright spot is that Dummett is a local lad who knows what it's all about and will not shirk his responsibilities. Wish him all the best.
jdckelly
Giaccherini on the bench, he's there best player this season very odd. Looks a bogstandard 442 for them
NUFC
Mackems team Westwood; Bardsley, O'Shea, Cuellar, Dossena; Larsson, Cattermole, Colback, Johnson; Altidore, Fletcher.
Guest BenArfa10
Watching SS, NUFC vs SAFC first up. What's the first thing they talk about, Chelsea and City.
aussiemag
Giaccherini on the bench, he's there best player this season Strange that him and Ki are on the bench. We should really beat this side, even with Willo and Dummett at the back.
Varadi
One plus with Dummett is that you have a left footed centre back on that side, should be a decent balance. Looking for positives here! See the fuckers have picked Fletcher and Altidore though so his physical strength is going to be tested...
BONTEMPI
No fucking about keeping it tight, we need to get them on the back foot asap.
Skirge
Hate this time now, the waiting the shitty sky build up.
LRD
Any team news for the mackems yet? It could be trouble if both Fletcher and Altidore start, with a physical battle against both our CBs. (Yes, Willo too, even if less so. He'll be real busy with 2 strikers + guiding an inexperienced makeshift CB.) Edit: Just saw the lineup. Fk, I'm worried. Mole_Toonfan
Comfortable with 10 men with Dummett and Williamson at CB against best striker partnership in the league. But nah Sunderland are going to f*ck them up FYI I'm not happy about it but there needs to be a sense of perspective here... they are against a team which have only scored 5 all season and have one point. Altidore and Fletchet couldn't f*ck up a pair of 5 year olds....but nah they are going to destroy us.

Munkey
Watching SS, NUFC vs SAFC first up. What's the first thing they talk about, Chelsea and City. yeah, but if Quinn's at Stamford Bridge it means the twat won't be commentating in the newcastle game. Dave
Altidore is clearly going to play well today after all the yank bashing.
