I actually don't know if Vetere is a cunt.

I might thinking of that other on hired at the same time, in dispute with Wise recently, he was definitely a cunt.

My understanding was that Llambias got to know Pardew during his days at West Ham, and was the chief advocate for him getting the job here.

I reckon the gambling debt story stems from a photo of Pardew, Llambias and Ashley together at Llambias's casino. Not much to build on, and I can't see Pardew being a heavy gambler anyway.

Doesn't have the nerve to gamble if you go by his team selections.

I don't think it's the main reason he keeps him, but it's not beyond comprehension that it's also a factor, easier to get manager to spin your bullshit for you if you have something over them no?

He's doing a sterling job as a bang average manager that's never goin to tear up any trees and dampen expectations to keep supporters in line, that's a main reason to keep him but I believe the debts have some credence too.

Just how much of a debt has he racked up for Asley to 'have something over' him and force him to do his bidding?

SanToon suggests 'several thousand pounds', but considering he's flush enough to drop £160,000 in a week just to get to nuzzle a Tiger, I suspect you might think it's more than that. :dontknow:

How do you know that he is paying from his own pocket..? Wouldn't be at all surprised if Ashley was paying these fines by giving Pardew a 'bonus'....esp likely in the case of the 60,000.

Or tell the truth whenever they want and not be at risk of lawsuits.

Having read the books I would say that either this cross paper group of journo collaborators has either a very vivid imagination or is bestest ever mates with a footballer.

Mike 'splash the cash' Ashley dipping into his own pocket? I can't see it.

How much would it cost him if he had to get rid of Pardew and hire a decent manager..?

The same as it would for your boss to sack you for gross misconduct.

I don't.

In my humble opinion you'd have to be a complete loon to actually believe what your saying there though.

I assume we will be hearing from him today?

I remain hopeful that we won't.

Unlucky, we have.

What's he said? What's he said? What's he said? What's he said! :clap2: :indi: :frantic:

This isn't word for word, he basically said we'd miss his presence massively.

Called carver a limp wristed  liberal c***, invited the press room to "come and have a go if you think you've got the stones" then spunked all over the first row. Was mad tbh

Every manager does that though.

Pardew lover!
