Surely we can't be any worse if we didn't have a manager, and just had the players figuring things out themselves.

If we had any leadership on the pitch at all apart from Mike fucking Williamson I'd agree.

If we had better players we could put John Carver in charge, what difference would it make?

A lot, I'd think.

They read out my "Never mind lost the plot, Pardew's never had it - he's a terrible, terrible manager" Facebook message on Total Sport. Buzzin'. I knew I'd have a shout if I was catchy with it.

5th 3+ defeat in 8 weeks. 10 defeats (without notching) in 14.

and this cunt is proud of how we've not just given up since getting to 40 points? Not only is he criminally bad at his job but he's a fucking liar too.

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew: "It was miserable for us. We were second best today and looked like we had no energy. It wasn't us today and we have to do a lot of work to get ready for Manchester United next weekend because that wasn't good enough for Newcastle.

"We lost the battle almost everywhere on the pitch. It was a tough day, a really tough day. For all our fans, I'm afraid that's not good enough. I've made it clear to players we have a lot of work to do."

Considering we usually win 1 - 0 or get hammered by 3 or more goals to nil it definitely was "us" today. It was a "Mr. Hyde" performance today from the team's "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde" split personality.

I don't know how you people have got the energy, I gave up on this thread a year and a half ago. He's not going to be sacked because his appointment has nothing to do with football, you've just got to be patient, save your money, and wait for this era to end.

This thread is far more entertaining than the football tbh. Pardew's quotes are comedy gold.

Would love to hear his reasoning for starting HBA and then hauling him off when he could have justifiably taken off mist of the team. Unless something was said it makes little sense. Starting him away at Soton was hanging him out to dry.

Wonder if MA was bothered about what he saw today -  nah, he couldn't give a s***, we're safe and the travelling fans humiliated. Job done.

You've answered your own question.

Reminds me of the 5th season when everyone wanted him in instead of Obertan.

Waited three months then picked him against Man City (a), Man Utd (a), Chelsea (h). Dragged him off at half time in the third game then dropped him for the next game against Norwich.

Backs up my point of the other day - he's doing it on purpose so we can ship him out with an excuse/not much of a whimper in the summer.

Looking more believable every week.

More to do with a casino tab, allegedly. Surely that must've been paid off long ago!
