Completely beyond my comprehension how anyone who has any affection whatsoever for NUFC doesn't absolutely detest the horrible cunt.

Mackems aside, most people without any affection for us dislike him and his wanker tendencies.

What a thoroughly nasty piece of work he is to hijack the good name and goodwill of a charitable, generous and decent man of the people, to curry favour with the very people he hopes to continue to financially and emotionally exploit on behalf of his self-serving boss, with full knowledge that neither he or is his boss have any intention to uphold the principles or values which SBR held dear.

Deserves the very worst.

Definitely would have been posted but it's not the first time...

"You have to prove yourself as a manager at any club, but particularly at a big club, that you can handle the tough times," he said.

"I did that at West Ham and got a lot of respect from West Ham fans, more for that, probably, than some of the great victories and getting to the cup final and the promotion we got.

"Maybe it will be the same here. Maybe in the future people will look back on that year and say: 'Well, he still handled it with a bit of dignity and respect', which I tried to do.

"Bobby Robson brought that to this job and for me that's the beacon for me to make sure I uphold those traditions."

Possibly also the worst thing he's ever come out with in terms of the dignity and respect bit.

“The second question to Mike after he’d told me (about the deal) was: ‘How am I going to win a trophy?’ Because that’s what I want to do here.

“I don’t want to be finishing seventh or eight every year, and he knows that. He knows what I am like.

“Mike knows me, he knows I have fallen out with chairmen before – that’s because I want to win things.

 Man, this is absolute fucking gold.

 He's a fucking maniac, saying shit like that.

Detestable fuck doesn't deserve to utter the name, he wouldn't know dignity or respect if it bit him on his slimy arse. He's really starting to boil my piss, his every word is like nails down a chalkboard, unbearable and irritating. Surely he can't believe his own shit, either that or he's purposefully antagonising us now.

Mick Quinn: Criticism will always be there and Alan Pardew needs to be able to deal with it

Nobody outside of St James' Park is to blame for this run of results, says Chronicle columnist and former Newcastle United favourite Mick Quinn

I don't like people laughing at Newcastle United.

An awful lot of my time is spent defending this great football club. Saturday was a difficult one for me.

I was in the talkSPORT studio in the evening, dissecting all that day’s results, when the lads in the office informed me of Alan Pardew’s comments about the local press apparently really going for the club.

It was obvious he blamed the coverage, at least in part, for losing to Stoke City.

And that’s when the laughter started. The guys were laughing at Pardew’s ridiculous words, about how he could possibly look to gain credibility by having a pop at ourselves. It was embarrassing.

Then for maybe the millionth time, Newcastle United made national headlines for all the wrong reasons as his words went viral.

I thought the back page of our sister paper the Sunday Sun was spot-on. It’s already being seen as iconic.

When people all over the country looked at that strong message after reading Pardew’s quotes, I know which side they were on. I know which side the Newcastle fans are on.

I don’t know the man, so I can’t say for sure why he came out with that. Maybe it is arrogance and he does have a reputation for it.

He believes the blame for Newcastle losing so many games lies with anyone but himself.

Sorry, but he is paid a s***load of money to be a Premier League manager and when he can’t motivate his players to beat Stoke, then I’m afraid that is only down to himself, what has gone on at board level and the players themselves.

If we lose to Swansea, who is he going to blame?

Will the grass be too long? Will it be because a south westerly wind was blowing across St James’ Park?

There are 52,000 people who support that team at ever home game. Are they all wrong? I don’t think one of them has watched any of these defeats and said: “That’ll be the Chronicle’s fault.”

Nobody likes being criticised. I got it whenever I went through a barren spell. I’ll tell you something, they were a long three games.

But you take it on the chin. You promise to show people they are wrong. What you don’t do is deflect as Pardew has.

I am no fan of the way Sam Allardyce sets up his team and have said so many times. He’s come in for a lot of over the top stick from the West Ham fans. What did he do? He went out and won some football. Pardew should have a go at that.

We praised him to the hilt when he took us to fifth in the table.

And even when I have criticised since the club failed to build on that, it was all about Mike Ashley spending more money in order to give the manager more players.

It wasn’t having a go at Pardew. It was all about wanting him to be given more help. That has been this newspaper’s line for two years now.

But did he ever call up and thanks us for the support? Did he ever come out in public and say he appreciated all the nice things written about him?

I have worked in the media for some time now and nobody in football ever does that. But the moment things get a bit rough, then they have things to say about certain articles. Funny that.

It is a privilege to be manager of Newcastle United. But it’s not an easy job. The criticism will always be there, however, you must be strong enough to rise above it.

Pardew has been here three years now. He should know this. He should also be setting out his team to win at Stoke, not to get beat.

The manager is not getting the best out of his players right now. That’s not good enough. That is why he is under pressure. He can’t blame that on other people.

The fans have waited patiently for tangible success. They continue to be frustrated by the club’s inability to build on any success, even glimpses, that come their way.

It’s the fault of any fan, pundit or journalist that two years ago we didn’t take the big step forward. Who but Ashley and then the manager is to blame for two seasons of most badly results?

We haven’t even stood still when clubs who were miles behind us – Liverpool and Everton – are now top four.

I hope we win on Saturday. But if we don’t, it won’t be the fault of this column.

But it wasn't his fault, Hatem Ben Arfa made him say it.

'We have got ourselves into a position, hopefully, in the summer to make some investment that can take this club forward and be stronger.'

And asked if supporters should be excited by the prospect of a significant recruitment drive, Pardew added: 'I hope so because the targets we have buoy me.'

'The financial goalposts have moved a little bit, probably, against us, but that doesn’t mean to say we can’t compete, and that’s what I’m determined to do.'

Can see this shit coming from a mile off too. Before the transfer window come out with stories about money available, a number of players coming in. Then as the window is open and we are yet to make a move, state you hope to bring one or two players in, then sell your best player (January only) after whoring him out for months. Last week of the transfer window still hopeful to bring one in, working day and night. Last day(s) of the window pack it in and stop even pretending anymore, leaving squad once again woefully short. Continue ad infinitum.

There was a day where I believed naively that Pardew was being let down by Ashley and co, but as the same act is repeated over and over, it's becoming ever more clear how complicit Pardew is in all of this. Just goes to show that Ashley will never sack Pardew whilst our top flight status is not in imminent danger. :anguish:

shoving officials, calling a fellow manager ( a well respected one at that) an old cunt, headbutting a player, lying about injuries, blaming others for his own failings, contradicting his own earlier statements, lying about selling players etc, etc.

Dignity? what fucking dictionary does this deluded arsehole use?

I'd love to strangle him to death, watching the life drain from his face.

That very much how we all look after 90 minutes watching us.
