Guest hydeous
Premature thread title change? Positivity on this thread is a little worrying. Can we just go back to calling dear old Pards nasty names please?
KaKa
Offered his services? Ah shit. Looks like he wants to come, and so I fully expect us to turn him away promptly.

Guest bimpy474
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/newcastle-line-up-saint-etienne-boss-3517298 Spreading. Newcastle United have reportedly earmarked Saint-Etienne coach Christophe Galtier as their next manager. Magpies boss Alan Pardew's future has come under increased scrutiny in recent months after they suffered six straight defeats prior to last week's 3-0 win against Cardiff. Back in March, Pardew was banned for seven games after headbutting Hull City's David Meyler during a game at St James' Park. L'Equipe have claimed that the Toon are looking to extend their French contingent to the management team after sounding out Saint-Etienne boss Galtier. Galtier has led Les Verts to the brink of Champions League football this season, although they need maximum points from their final two games to have a chance of overthrowing Lille in third place in Ligue 1. However, the Frenchman recently hinted that his future may be elsewhere once the campaign is over. When questioned on his future, the 47-year-old is quoted as saying: "My duty and my dedication mean that I have to prepare for next season. "We are not sure of anything in football. It is very difficult to talk about the future of a coach." Newcastle end their season with a trip to Liverpool this Sunday.
LRD
I'd have Christophe Biggins if it meant getting rid of this f***ing prat. I'd take Bilbo Baggins and his adventures tbh.

KaKa
Man, this would be so sweet. I like the fact he'd be coming in from a less heralded club too, and so would be hungry. Also, likely to be cheap enough for the fat man too
Varadi
The "offered services" bit actually makes me less hopeful tbh, thought for a while we might actually have been proactive in sourcing a new man.

I'd like a manager that wears a bow tie. In fact a manager who turns up to each match in a tux would be ideal.
