"So you agreed a deal for one of the most talented youngsters in world football... only for a club favourite to block it?"

"Oh dear."

It appears that everyone has been Pardew-ed in the past year. Before, it was only EL that was touted as a distraction by muppets, now it appears that CL is on the same boat as well.  :idiot2:

All of a sudden, being in the Champions League, is a distraction and reduces your chances at the league. Unbelievably bollocks. Being in the greatest and most high level competition in the world as "distraction".

Man Utd now 4/7 odds to make top 4 next year, because they won't have "distraction", instead they'll play mid-week friendlies in Tokyo and Sao Paolo .

Hull City qualifies for Europe, first question "Europa League will be a distraction".

Fucking hell, I can't wait until next season, now that we have the distraction and Man Utd don't.

It's like you're studying for a quiz and Natalie Portman walks to you asking you if you fancy a quicky. Give me that distraction any day of the week.

Poor Atletico Madrid are soooooooo distracted, they may win the double on Saturday. Imagine their distractions, next season when they have to play in the Super Cup and Club World Cup.

"Not a Manchester United player"

Such utterly meaningless talk jargon. What the hell does that even mean?

Bunch of arrogant clowns man

Oh, but I presume Cleverley who was starting games in midfield at the beginning of the season is a Man United player then?! Pah!

Malcolm Glazer has died - he wasn't popular with their fans as this thread proves!

I'm not signing for it either, but the only reason he was unpopular was because of the debt he shifted to the club. The Glazers have proven they are more than capable of running a club to a very high level though and the debt continues to drop every year. There hasn't been any animosity towards them in quite a while.
