Never underestimate just how much the Premier League is willing to bend over for one of its clubs with a large global following.

I spy with my little eye….PSR exemptions

The PL can’t sit back and watch one of their favourite clubs being a laughing stock, it’s bad for the brand

Would you keep Amorim?

I would, but I know plenty of our fans are losing patience. Personally I don't understand why you would bring a new manager in midway through a season, back him in the summer and then sack him after three games? We've conceded 4 goals, and 3 of them have been goalkeeping errors. We were by far the better side against Arsenal, and we should have had Fulham blown away in the opening 30 minutes. Denied a clear pen against Arsenal, and missed a pen against Fulham. We just need a bloody goal to settle things down.

There was a huge overreaction to the Fulham game, as if they're not a decent side. You'd also think we lost 3-0 instead of getting a decent draw. They took 6 points off Newcastle last season and 4 off Spurs. They're no mugs.

All that being said, results do have to come. If we don't win convincingly against Burnley, the pressure will be enormous on him I think. Say it's a draw on Saturday then we come back after the international break and lose to Chelsea and City, then I think it'll turn sour again.

It's solely because sacking a manager 3 games in would be disastrous tbf, she talks a lot of sense.

It’s not three games in either, he’s been in charge for like 40 games, and they’ve been consistently crap in all of them.

Should’ve went out to Lyon in Europa QF, and he wouldn’t then have the SF and F appearance as a fall back. There’s been 0% redeemable about his spell in charge. Potter has done more, and he’s one game away from being sacked.

Garnacho is £35m. Rashford could be £30m (or they’ll try and push for less and subsidise some wages), Mainoo may have to be sold for £40m, that’s all then pure book that enables the next wave of spending and the proper final roll of the dice.

I really don’t get it with Amorim. All I hear is how he should be given time, how fans can see what he is trying to do, the media give him an easy ride and plenty say he is a nice guy and speaks well.

Admittedly it isn’t as if I watch all his press conferences or all their games. But outside looking in. He still has no clue what his best XI looks like, the players don’t fit his system, he hasn’t addressed the glaring holes in the squad (keeper and CM), they’re constantly easy to play against/through. And all this while he has frozen out a load of fairly expensive and/or valuable players and politely said they’re not good enough or their attitude is wrong.

His record is absolutely pathetic and I can’t get my head around what an easy time of it he gets. From the media and Man U fans alike.

Bit harsh to say he hasn't addressed the glaring holes in the squad. We're desperate for a keeper and a midfielder, but we were more desperate for goals.

There has been huge improvements in the play, but the results aren't there yet.

Have a look at this forum after we played Arsenal and after the first half hour against Fulham. "Man United will be good again unfortunately." "That's what happens when you spend £200m on a new front line, it'll work eventually" "Man United look far better. They'll be miles better this season" Now one game later we're the worst in the land again and it's never getting better. Football fans are fickle.

You'd think we're the only side in the Premier League sitting on one point.

His body language and demeanour is appalling for a bloke in a job where he’s supposed to motivational

Pacing and crouching on the touchline looking sad and angsty like an EMO teenager who’s been told by their mam that they’re not allowed to paint their bedroom walls black

That doesn't bother us, because he's always been like that even at Sporting when he was on top of the world. He was pacing up and down the touchline looking angsty when he was smashing City in the Champions League.

It’s not really about just the one point. It’s how in his entire time here. He has barely won a game that he wasn’t expected to win and you’ve looked, well to me, anyway. Even worse than you did before.

You went all in on goals. Yet still don’t have a functioning midfield or a decent keeper at the club. You don’t seem to know who your best 3 CB’s are or if you actually have any decent ones  are your only recognised wingbacks Dorgu and Dalot? Dorgu looks nowhere near ready. Dalot seems to get slated by all your fans whenever he has played!

You’re right that it seems daft to bin him

after spending all that money. I’d argue it’s daft to go all in on a manager that seems so rigid with his tactics. That somehow almost every player in the squad doesn’t fit his setup and style and look worse than they actually are as players.

EDIT - I forgot Mazaroui at wingback….. Erm. He’s looked great

They never really were, for the wrong reasons. We might struggle this season if we also don’t get strikers.

Doesn't matter if he gets sacked. Nothing is going to change, the club is rotten to the core.

Just like with us and Mike Ashley, it's going to take several years to fully get rid of the stench of the Glazer's, if and when they do eventually leave.

Ugarte will be the next one in the bomb squad. Sitting there on six figures plus, with another four years on his contract.

Weren't we heavily linked with him at one point a few years ago? When he was still at Sporting? Another bullet dodged, it seems.

Amorim was insane to take the job midway through last season. Sporting were untouchable while he was there, he would've likely led to them to a treble and then had his pick of the jobs this summer.

Any English football fan would've told him that Man Utd is a poisoned chalice, but managers have big egos and like a naïve teenaged girl who only dates bad boys, they always think they're gonna be the ones to change it.

Find a lot of this baffling to be honest but it gives you an insight into how other fans are thinking.

Our starting back three is concrete in Yoro, De Ligt and Shaw, and Yoro and De Ligt are top class. Zero complaints from any of our fans about either of them. Shaw has played well too but not to the level of the other two. None of them have really put a foot wrong in the league. I've seen criticism for Dorgu on here as well and don't really understand it to be honest. He's been very good this season and is actually performing as a wing back should. He was awful last season though and maybe people are just continuing on from that, unfairly.

Arsenal never had a sniff. Our keeper threw the ball into the net for them. Fulham's goal was from Bruno not tracking the man in midfield. Bruno as a #8 beside Casemiro is going to be a big problem. Nobody wants to talk about it but it was Bruno who gave away the corner against Arsenal as well.

Dalot is a fucking donkey though. That's the only thing I agree with. A pure and utter donkey.

Same as his special system then, he’s got one way of doing things and he refuses to change

You’re getting dicked most weeks and are at your lowest ebb in generations but he’s still unable to adapt to the circumstances

When you’re on the touchline show some passion, some belief, project some positivity to the players and fans. Gee the players up. Motivate them. Look like you’re at least fighting to turn things around.

But nah, it’s better to just keep up the sulky EMO vibes every game and then decide to hide when your team are in a pelanty shoot out
