Hanshithispantz
"After Cabella's nomination for the award was picked up by the Newcastle Chronicle, votes for the former Montpellier man skyrocketed to claim an astonishing 59.5 percent of the ballot." They couldn't just let it slide, could they.

They couldn't just let it slide, could they. They are takng all the credit for it but when that chron. article was published, at 3.30pm, the voting was about even with around 45% each. So in actual fact, they just totally ruined it. As usual.

Guest
From the bench to the best player on the continent since Pardew left. If that doesn't say something then nowt will.
Guest Recoba
I have been very critical of this lad in the past. I think a mix of 70% Pardew being gone and 30% having six months in the league to adapt have done him good. Really looking forward to seeing what he can do against Stoke. Not just being in the team either but he's the fulcrum of the attack.

SEMTEX
I enjoy that they mock the stats that got him on the list in the first place. I'm wondering how that'll go down with the associated WhoScored.com that provide the stats, and no doubt have some financial agreement with ESPN. HawK
Cabella said two weeks ago: “I have watched Youtube a lot to watch Peter Beardsley over again. “When I arrived at Newcastle every player here told me to check what he did on Youtube. “Peter is a top-class player. “I looked and ‘Woh!’ He was brilliant. “More than that he is a great human being and a very nice guy. “I like him and I hope to learn more from him.” So it's down to Sewelly that he's looking like a player now ?
