Blueview
BBC reporting Man City are set to sign Gundogan for £20mill Yeah that deal was done a while back: shame he has a bad injury and has been plagued with injuries for a few years A £40m player available for half that sum due to injuries.. Of course it´s a gamble but he ought to be okayish sometime in August
Blueview
Monchi leaving Sevilla, wonder where he's headed. He's responsible for a lot of their success these years. Now told to stay put and that his resignation has been refused. Always find it a bit strange when a resignation gets refused, he obviously doesn't want to be there anymore. Granted he's probably one of the best out there for finding talent but if he doesn't want to be there seems daft keeping him. Everton.. Him and Emery Just a matter of the €5m release clause IMHO. Ketsbaia
City buying Laporte for £39m according to the Guardian. Isn't he crocked too? Preparing a bid for Siem de Jong as well.
Interpolic
Would mean Man City have spent over £100m on 3 centre halves in the last 2 years
KDT
Would mean Man City have spent over £100m on 3 centre halves in the last 2 years There's even more spent if you go back to them replacing Savic who would now probably get a game for them.
nemtizz
£39m is ridiculous money for 90% of CBs. He's still very raw, too.

Probably? He'd walk straight into their team.

Flip
I hope Laporte isn't left wide open at the back. It's Guardiola, if anything he'd play as a lone defender if Kompany is injured.

Kaizero
Leicester have signed the atrociously named Ron-Robert Zieler. Weird move for Zieler going from first team football to being a bench player. Could it mean Schmeicel is going somewhere else?

Deuce
Mad transfer. Totally unnecessary. Not if they think there's a strong chance of losing Schmeichel. And he's an upgrade on Hamer/Schwarzer. And even if not, I respect the move. It's a "we're a big club" move from a club that's gonna need to think that way if they want to remain competitive. SEMTEX
Why not have competition at the GK spot? I see no issue from Leicester's perspective. In fact it's very good for them.... Why Ronny Rob would make the move is a little more questionable. Clearly wants money + CL over playing time, or thinks he's better than wor kasps.
