Silva is clearly a good signing for Man City - attacking wise, they look very strong.

However defence is still very average, they really need sort that out, otherwise I just can't see them winning Prem League/going far in Champs League.

Wonder if they will sign Walker AND Rose?

They are heavily linked with Monaco's fullbacks, as i said earlier the plan just to be buy Monaco's players and hope it works out.

Isn't football today grand. Not dong so hot and have more money than God? Somebody else doing better? Just buy their team.

Silva looks decent on his highlights, more tricky then anyone they have now but not that quick and very one-footed. This is off one season of highlights mind, so they may know better than me. Very young too obviously.

You not seen him in the Champions League? He's class

I think 'Bernado' is a top rate signing. Sane has looked unplayable/awesome at times, de Bruyne is one of the best players in the Premiership, the other Silva is an absolute wizard, who has still got a couple of seasons in him. Sterling has massively improved. Gundogan looked a great signing before he was injured. Man City will have a wealth of options in attacking midfield; add Jesus to the mix...Fast and furious s*** at The Etihad next season.

Think he had a good season under Guardiola actually, told him to stay wide and stretch play and was good at it.

Comparing him to say Christian Eriksen for a more accomplished well regarded player Sterling made 47 appearences to Eriksen's 48, 10 goal's to Eriksen's 12 and 21 Assists to Eriksen's 23. Very very respectable imo. Admitably City were more freescoring but couldn't defend in contrast with Spurs, but he's still young.

You're going to have to tell me where you got those stats from. ESPN has Sterling on 41 games for Man City, plus 7 as sub, with 6+1 games for England. Eriksen 46 for Spurs, plus 3 as sub, with 5 for Denmark.

Sterling Man City Goals 10 Assists 14 (Prem G 7 A 6)

Eriksen Spurs Goals 12 Assists 23 (Prem G 8 A 15)

Doesn't really detract from the main point though - Sterling has been really good for Man City this season.

I will point out that we scored 6 more Premiership goals that "more free-scoring Man City".

Well bad defending City then  They were more flat track bullies mind, rack up goals in games the other team couldn't cope with I think so some easy goals.

Got stats from here, sorry if incorrect just from google

lucky b******.

"Last season, the Brazilian centre-back Anderson Conceicao made headlines when he revealed that former Real Mallorca manager Joaquin Caparros used pornography to try and motivate his players before a La Liga game against Athletic Bilbao.

“In the team talk ahead of the game Caparros showed us a video with images from a porn film. We were shocked, we didn't understand anything of what we were watching.

“He told us: ‘On the pitch, you need to play as hard as this guy’, and he pointed at the screen.”"

Ederson's apparently been class this season.

Heard Tom Kundert (Potuguese journalist) on a few podcasts this season saying how good he has been and that he'll be off to one of thr big leagues in the summer.  Wonder what'll happen with Bravo
