I know all the bullshit his detractors will come out with "hiz own folt marra," etc., but at the end of the day, under a more positive, different manager, we'd have built our fucking team around him and he'd have been a legend for us. Personally I don't see a single player who he could've realistically taken out for Hatem. Gosling can nick a goal out of nowhere, Obertan can run with the ball for hours, Shola Ameobi has a great penalty on him, and Jonas is a fantastic creative outlet. Hatem could never do those things.
