Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Real Betis)

I've found him fine recently but today was one of his days where he delayed every decision and it really wasn't good - it just slowed us down. He and Hayden should've been off after 60 minutes.

Yep, agree with this.

We don't have anyone else capable of playing number 10 like. All of the suggestions are way off like, but that probably comes from us not having anyone near enough. Really wish we'd got Loftus-Cheek.

I've always had patience with Perez on the basis that 'one day he'll come good' but, it's been like that for 3 years now like.

I just dont get him at all, he has an amazing touch at times but he doesn't really seem to offer anything. I have no confidence in him scoring or assisting on a regular basis, he plays well at times but not frequently enough nor does he offer a real threat.

It's going to be a long hard season when your striker and number 10 don't appear to be capable of chipping in with many goals. I like both Perez and Joselu for what they offer the team but the summer just gone should have resulted in us having better options in both positions.

Should give Murphy a go in the 10 position. He can't be worse than Ayoze is at times.

Not the answer I fear.

I keep saying this but there is no answer, people are frantically looking for solutions to the impossible. Rafa is doing what he can but the fact is we have some gaping holes in the squad which no amount of positional or formation changes is going to fix.
