Oh aye, no doubt, large part of that was expectation being at an all time low mind. In isolation it would probably be enough to be considered a very-good window, but as it stands it doesn't make up for the complete lack of investment for the past few years, buying our way out of trouble last January aside. Also if not for Pardew I'd be very confident of top 8. I mean Ben Arfa and Yanga-Mbiwa back in and no negative mind alteringly shit tactics would make a hell of a difference.
