That was actually a scenario in which his negative approach might have actually worked though, it was a weird one. Maybe if we were one goal down, yes. But we needed at least two goals. I reckon if Stoke hadn't placed the away fans towards the back of the stand that day, someone would have ran onto the pitch and went for Pardew as he approached the tunnel.
