Southampton 4 - 0 Newcastle United - 13/09/14 - post-match laughs from page 1

Just checked our fixture list and we're definitely going down if Pardew doesn't get sacked soon like. If he's still here by the time those fixtures roll around in December then there's no hope.

Shearer's not wrong about the folly of our behaviour in the transfer market. Doesn't excuse Pardew though.

Exactly this.

But Pardew is happy to praise the clubs work in the window and stay in the seat even if eh doesn't know any of the players. Pardew is a disgrace.

I don't believe for a second that Pardew has no say in who comes in. He obviously has no say when Ashley decides to cash in on our best players, that's what he signed up for, he was brought in as a yes man. But, he was clearly involved in bringing in the players we did this summer.

If he had his way we'd be buying mediocre English players rather than foreign bargains just for resale value purposes. Not saying we would be better off mind.

Edit: what KaKa said

And that has been my argument against this charlatan for years - no matter if he hasn't got the players he wants he's been supplied with players that are good enough to put together a team that has some sort of shape and actually look like they know each other.  Instead we've had season upon season of random results mixing a win based on nothing but individual skill with complete collapses like today.

Yeah it was horrendous. We looked totally rattled from the get-go and they pressed us very high, meaning we never settled.

Koeman did good tactics.

 you'd be a daft manager not to do that to us these days. Average players who have nen confidence in an awful system should be done in every week. Palace should've done it at SJP instead of sitting back all, hopefully Hull don't do the same.

Although it did seem laughable that Pardew blamed the fans for the performance, we looked totally shot and it did probably have something to do with it.

Good on all those who went down

The players are disgustingly average and have probably hopped on the I can't be chewed bang bus rather than any revolt like thus making them look like a bunch of amateurs. Club is an absolute horrorshow from top to bottom and it couldn't be more obvious in everything it does currently.

As a normal fan it's fucking rank, as a sane man it's so enjoyable watching Pardew and to a lesser extent Ashley squirm like little boys who've shat their pants.

If Ashley is saying he's not selling at any price until 2016 or whatever, then he has to make a move now, surely? He may soon be left with no option but to sell at a loss if we go down. If he's any kind of businessman he's got to be thinking about his future potential income now, he's fucked big time if we go down. He has to either change manager or sell up, trouble with the former is he's currently stating he wants to promote from within (so he doesn't have to spend, the tight, fat cunt) which doesn't leave him with many options and not much hope of staying up. His man, his loyal little fuckwit, is doing him over big time at the minute and looks set to continue doing so. Ashley doesn't seem to have a move to make at present, even though everyone else knows. It's a colossal mess.
