The ‘leaks’ are only mock ups that were done by people in Gallowgate shots that were done after hearing descriptions of them. Could be very similar or could be completely different

Aye this, the one Footyheadlines have on their Twitter account this morning, I’d be amazed if we get that collar, looks awful, and cheap tacky fake footy top like.

Pretty sure @JonBez comesock has confirmed that the new shirts are very similar to recent images floating round, particularly the Harvey Barnes pic

And Mr Comesock is legit ITK on NUFC sartorial matters

Aye I did remember that after I posted and I believe he was spot on last year as his daughter plays for the women’s team (correct me if I’m wrong) I’ve  no doubt they will be very similar. Just pointing out they were just mock ups from a description than an actual leak

Do you mean:

A) you hope the 3 x kits will be more exciting than what we've seen leaked

B) the 3 x kits are what we've seen leaked, but we'll have loads of extra NUFC clobber to buy

C) the 3 x kits will be more exciting than the leaked ones and we'll also have loads of extra clobber to buy

Cos if it's A or C then we've had it confirmed by a poster with ties to the squad that the kits are what we've seen

I think B is why they're doing bespoke promo round N Shields & Newcastle

And bringing in Fender would have been no bother, he lives close to where they've been filming the adverts. Easy bunce for him

Pretty much what you've said yeah. I hope it's A/C but it's probably B.

Enough people have seen the kits at this point that I'd imagine the leaks or mockups are at least 95% accurate.

When those chaps from adidas were showing Amanda and Co all the vintage stuff in the archives and pitching what great ideas they had, they concluded the meeting by announcing we'd be getting the Argentina shirt but in black and white.

I think black and white stripes is always a bit tricky doing something revolutionary. Unless you go bat shit crazy, you basically do stripe widths or a new collar.

I wouldn’t  mind seeing something just totally fucking mental for a one off change. But I think it would be a gamble and upset some people.

one season just go nuts and do something like the notts forest away shirt but swap the blue for black, and maybe a tyne bridge or sky line at in the top white bit. Or just something a bit different, I don’t like this juventus top, but you get the idea.

to be honest I’m more looking forward to the training kits as I like exercising/gardening and just lazing about in.

Aye, they will be bring out loads of stuff. Apparently they are going to reproduce the classic away shirt, not just bring out a modern version, actually run it out again, complete with the Adidas branding. I know Leeds had branded trainers and they were nowhere near an elite club for Adidas. The club will be bringing out more branded products outside of Adidas.

I wonder if Villa are or will be having similar marketing in Birmingham?

They've releasing the 95/97 home as well, but apparently its only gonna be in long sleeve ?

Newcastle United has commenced work to move its retail operations in-house for the first time in more than a decade with the construction and imminent installation of a temporary club store and new e-commerce website.

Following initial groundworks in April and May, the first of five modular 'Rapid Retail' units began to arrive at St. James’ Park on Wednesday to form a larger temporary store that will serve fans this summer.

Meanwhile, the club is currently building a new online retail platform - shop.newcastleunited.com - that will go live on 29th May, supporting the sale of official merchandise to supporters around the world.

For visitors to St. James' Park, the temporary store will be situated between The Strawberry pub and the St. James' STACK presented by Sela, and will be operated by Newcastle United's new in-house retail team. It will also officially open on 29th May to coincide with the closure of the existing stadium store, which is currently operated by Castore, and in time for England men's and women's international matches.

When the agreement between Castore and the Magpies concludes later this month, the current stadium store beneath the Gallowgate End will undergo a significant refit. In its place, a brand-new retail experience will open later this summer as part of the upcoming partnership between Newcastle United and global sportswear giant, adidas. The temporary store will then be removed.

Peter Silverstone, Chief Commercial Officer at Newcastle United, said: "We are hugely excited about engaging with supporters directly through our new in-house retail operations.

"We have big plans for our retail business, and the first step on the journey is to launch a new digital retail platform while completely revitalising how we meet supporters' needs in our physical stores.

"The temporary store at Strawberry Place will enable us to close the existing retail outlet at St. James' Park and put significant investment into the site. The result will be the launch of a world class retail experience at a flagship stadium store, filled with new kit and merchandise that we anticipate will be
hugely popular.

"We are building a passionate local team to drive this new retail operation, helping us to deliver on the huge demand for Newcastle United products through best-in-class service.

"We recognise it will take time to get our service to the perfect levels we strive for, and we thank supporters for their patience as we go through this important transitionary period over the summer months."

The temporary club store will initially sell a new range of Newcastle United-branded merchandise - from 29th May before the launch of adidas products - starting with the 2024/25 home kit from 7th June.

Ordered loads of the blackout gear (cheers for the codes gentlemen) and I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Castore gear. Think I was expecting it to be a bit shit given their reputation but I'm happy with all of it tbh, good stuff

I kept getting called names for saying some gear actually surprised me how good it was.

The thing is, at the prices they tried to charge so it should be tbf [emoji38] hoodies have been the pick of the lot for me.

I've always rated Castore for both the quality of their gear and the design of them too, its their logistics and price points that tend to be the issue with them.

Got the hoodie, sweatshirt, training T (for the bairn), shorts and tracky bottoms and they're all lush. Total cost was about £80? Can't be robbed
