They're would bring in more money for FIFA than any of the other alternatives at the same time as being the highest ranked (13th) nation to not qualify, enabling FIFA to spin some absolute bullshit excuse like "We believe that by following the FIFA Rankings we will ensure the world get to watch only the best of the best face off on the biggest stage of all; the FIFA World Cup!" He lives in Thailand now like a lot of the patriots. Fair play to him enjoying all his trips but he’s one of the most boring people around who does indeed love the attention. Also surely being that much of a super fan of England must get a bit depressing.

He's not even a superfan really, be lads travelling from all ends of the country today and on Tuesday to Wembley and back to get their caps and putting the miles in and getting back at daft o clock in the morning. This fucker just turns up every couple of years for folk to lick his hoop. Knowing my luck I'll probably end up stuck beside the cunt when England play in the Euros at SJP in a few summers' time

Won't comment on the fact that a retired teacher living in Thailand can sell an asset worth £350k to go see a fucking football tournament while young families with children can't afford to buy a home and get away from the rent seeking landlord. Words fail me. A guy who looks like a melted Steve McLaren action figure who kept getting caught by the camera was quite funny at first, but like everything else, the more the media talk about him the more off putting he is. A retired teacher in his 60's who lives in Thailand fits the profile of a perverted wrong'un It doesn't say anything about him having an offer accepted on his house. Even if he accepted an offer today, good luck getting the funds in your account by the time the world cup starts. Edited March 27 by Moose

It's different when you have football mad kids as well, you want them to be able to absorb the WC like you did as a kid. Just my 2p of course.
