BlufPurdi
https://twitter.com/Boscorelli55/status/1015701559328600064 People are so fucking stupid, man. Seen loads of stuff like this. Those mugs trashing the IKEA store I guess most of our fannies haven't been able to travel to the WC this time, so they're at home. Or, if yesterday is anything to go by, they're just having fun, why moan etc etc. There's a big difference with people in A BEER PARK throwing beer and not complaining...and an absolute fucking retard damaging an ambulance. This place is full on retard at times. Stupid fucking dig. Yes, I admitted that was wrong about two seconds later, but thanks for the reminder. BlufPurdi
Fair enough, I retract that snipe... I hope I'm wrong and we can say fannies are fannies. Regardless of the just having fun narrative, the behaviour of many England fans puts people off following England or football. We're hardly angels as fans, this is the first tournament we've not turned up and tried to wreck (in decades), and there actually is an obligation on us to start behaving with a bit more dignity as a fucking group and I'm not having the shite. The beer stuff has nothing to do with all that, I accept. That happens beyond the UK too. Most of those are not "England Fans" they're just dickheads with an excuse to get pissed because everyone's watching the England game. But don't let that stop the agenda of cellulite Sally being the face of English fan hooliganism. Most of what I have witnessed has been passionate and respectful. Sorry like, but that's just nonsense. They're every bit an England fan as much you or me, but indeed they're just dickheads. It's this bullshit that's allowed our problem to continue since Euro '96. It's a minority(!), they'll say, they're not real fans, they'll attempt to say. We've got a problem with our drinking culture, especially within footballing culture. It doesn't seem to manifest so much in club football, but bring it together under England and it's detestable. Half these idiots would probably have been the cunts running up and down foreign streets flinging chairs at randoms if they could have gotten there, just the authorities did a good job this time, both British and Russian. Guest Howaythetoon
We have a culture in this country of when pissed becoming absolute dickheads, home or abroad. Lasses are the worst, over the road from me last night a group of teenage girls were punching the bus stop time table thing, mortal and dressed like sluts. I watched for a wile through the curtains of course The vast majority of fans or people getting into the sprits have been well behaved with hardly any incidents mind. I feel when in 20 years time we are watching documentaries about this WC the beer throwing thing will be looked back on as one of those mad it just become a thing thing like how people started wearing them stupid hats in the 90s after that daft twat from Big Brother wore them, bubble or something. I can see the funside of the beer swilling, but it notating I want to be around and I try to avoid pubs and the Toon on match days unless I’m at the match as there are too many nob heads. I actually watched us against Colombia in Scotswood Social Club which is rough as fuck and full of torags, but nee trouble whatsoever.

Guest Howaythetoon
Tournaments do bring out people who otherwise wouldn’t even be able to name you a player from the team like, same with other big sporting scents like boxing or racing. These are the worst type. You can’t be critical of people getting into the mood and spirit, you don’t have to be a football fan to get behind the team as this is about our country as much as football. Guest Howaythetoon
The weather brings out the nobs as well, and the tits... Been lush mind and this summer will go down as a classic because of it and the footy.
Guest firetotheworks
Aye, my IG is awash with people getting into the World Cup who don't normally care about football. Sometimes it's annoying, other times it's really good, but it does make me wonder how many bellends it's attracted.
Guest Howaythetoon
It’s annoying when they start ripping into the team or players when we aren’t winning or someone misses a goal. Sterling took a load of crap on my Facebook feed and half those spouting their crap don’t even watch footy or show any interest. They didn’t even know who he was before the tournament and now they are all experts. When I tell some people how many goals he scored last season they say he must play for a shit team. I’m not being snobby, but it pisses me off and we may see a big wave of new fans like we did after Euro 96 following this which might have a negative effect in our own stadia with proper fans who could be replaced in grounds in terms of numbers and chanting. No doubt if England win, the PL will become even more popular attracting more people who want to buy into the product. I can see prices going up for tickets, shirts and TV subscriptions especially if England win it.
Mattoon
We've raised a generation of self entitled nobheads basically, I'm not saying they're all like that because that's what's annoying me about the "All England Fans are the same and we actively want you's to lose" mantra. Yes we've got a load of pricks causing havoc, wrecking public and private property and throwing beer around, it's not indicative of England Fans, it's the Ingurrrland "fans" that jump on the bandwagon when it's going well and only own an England shirt, maybe a 2018 Man City shirt and an old Chelsea shirt in the wardrobe on top of an early 2000s Man U shirt. A bit of nice weather, some beer and a mob mentality is a disaster waiting to happen. Like HTT I stay far away from public gatherings of said nob heads when the game is on, I've been hosting World Cup days at my gaff for 5 or 6 friends and it's been a quality tournament. Don't let pictures on social media and in the papers form your opinion on England Fans as a collective, as NUFC fans you know how easy it is to get caught in a clichè. It feels like I'm permanently resigned to working alongside a woman who knows nothing about football and doesn't care about football, telling me how shit Newcastle/England/a certain player are as if they have some sort of insight over me, someone who watches and talks about football all the time. Everywhere I've worked there's been at least one.
