If he wasn't doing it every game then he would probably have gotten away with a booking, but he looks massively clumsy in the tackle to me, and looks likely to do this every week. When you keep going into a tackle with your studs raised then land on someone's shin instead of the ball then you can't really complain if that's how referees are going to see it. You can argue the intent wasn't there, but refs aren't going to allow you to keep getting away with it if you do it game after game. He's a fucking liability at the moment. Whether intentional or not, a clear pattern is emerging regarding being a bit slow in full blooded tackles. He needs to learn very fast or he will spend half the season being banned.
