Pata
This thread never ceases to amaze me (though it's usually the same people). 'Shearer and Lukaku were better at 21, he will never be even decent' ffs
Ketsbaia
Mitrovic and Armstrong next season in the Championship - lots of potential.
BrettNUFC
He was willing to die for the cause today. Love you Mitro. Unreal! Wish we could bottle his passion and feed it into others. His lack of goals has been an issue for us a team but as a player I have no worries in him at all. His all round game is far better than i expected, his chest control up with the best I've ever seen. He's not just the nutcase who wants a fight, he wants to fight for his team, many of which in our squad don't want to do. If we do go down God forbid, Mitro is someone we should be supporting and fighting to keep because he's the type to fire us back up. He's improving all the time. His chest control is up with the best you've ever seen??? Pity he cannot win a ball in the air for shit then and very rarely jumps at all for any always wants to chest it down. He has the first touch and control of a baby elephant man
toontownman
Could see him staying next year in the championship. Just depends on how much we could cash him in for. Stock certainly isn't as high. If only he had a bit more pace. Passion is there though. Think he can be a big player for us. Not convinced we will have the chance to see.
TRon
He's not actually that good in the air. He should be scoring more goals like that one today, and he offers no threat at set pieces.

BrettNUFC
I was at a talk in with Beardsley on Friday...someone said recall Arma, he's better than Mitro/Rivière/DeJong/Doumbia...pedro said he wasn't ready, there was levels in football, Arma is miles away from PL. Bloke kicked off saying Arma scored goals, none of our strikers can. It got quite heated for a Q+A, pedro said Arma would be 6th choice, he'd had Rivière and Doumbia easily over Arma. Says 4/5 years Arma might be better than rivière, fair enough but right now Mitro for his age is a man, Arma still a boy who shouldn't be near PL. Guest
Since the transfer window opened, Mitrovic has scored as many league goals as Austin & Berahino put together. Deadly.

Considering you are on my ignore list, this post isn't a surprise. You must have some ridiculously low expectations from a striker.

Scotty66
Knew he would score today. That goal will give him a massive confidence boost which is exactly what he (and we) need at the moment.
George Bailey
He seems a genuinely nice young lad. Daft as a brush but he seems to give a shit, which is more than many in the squad. Certainly not ready to be leading the line at this level now, and it's not his fault he is being asked to do so. We need an experienced, good solid striker to help him develop whichever division we end up in next season.(I expect it to be the Championship) Mitrovic, Armstrong and AN-other with that experienced striker would be decent imo (Assuming Perez is sold). Deuce
I was simply only comparing to Lukaku because idiots on here are using the excuse that he's 21 and not played in the league for the fact he's utter shit Lukaku's first full season in this league at 19 for WBA he was a beast Some people need to wake up take the B/W glasses off and just accept that this bloke has absolutely nothing that will ever make him even a half decent striker in this league Bit of a tedious arsehole, aren't you. Interpolic
Drogba didn't pull up any trees until he was in his mid-twenties, if we're talking pointless comparisons. Reckon Mitro has done alright for a 21 year old so far, with his goals domestically, internationally and in the champions league, it's not his fault we placed all of our faith in him for our goals this year. Anyone who can't see useful qualities in him for a kid his age must be watching different games to me, I think he'll end up being a very good striker whether it's here or elsewhere.
