I understand people who hesitate to write off Lascelles completely, and have sympathy in that he's captaining a side expected to go up at a time when he's still learning his trade.

BUT, you have to have very serious concerns about a defender who doesn't appear to have any instinct for the absolute basics of defending (ie keep tabs on your man first, then the ball), even when the situation is screaming our for them.

Hanley simply has to come in on Monday - and stay in until Clark is back. Give Ritchie the armband.

He's got the attention span of a Titus Bramble. Not sure you can do anything about that and that's my main concern with him.

He does appear to have a bit of Tituslitis about him, to be fair.

Heard a few people saying this way back to when we played York in pre season

He and Darlow both looked like non-leaguers in that game, but it was nearly two years ago.

That being said, the Titus is strong with Jamaal.

From day one he's looked like a football league player who should be nowhere near the team if we get promoted but fine for now.

He's ended up being a hindrance here too.

Saw the big fella down at the Ipswich game. Still looks in pretty good nick to be fair.

Maybe the Mackems can take him back next season?

I don't know what Rafa's take on it is, but I haven't felt confident in Lascelles for a long time. He's got at least one gaffe in him per game, and he switches off regularly. Mbemba does the same tbh, can be having a stormer then for some reason he'll be marking space and the ball's in the back of the net. Then Hanley is just a slow lumbering oaf. Don't fancy Rafa's job to pick two out of that lot if Clark's still unfit.
