Guest
He's 30 in a couple of weeks. This should be his prime now.
TRon
He's ok as a stand in, not a keeper who will ever be headhunted by better teams but can do a job in the short term. I never feel that nervous that he's starting.

I never feel that nervous that he's starting. Yeah, Championship first-choice (though the errors he made for us down there were a bit mental), decent second/third choice up here. David Edgar
Happy to play the long game with this, as I had to with Manquillo.
Guest
I actually agree with Manquillo. Thought he'd come good.
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
He rarely seems to hold the ball at the first time of asking, which is a little unsettling.
Big Geordie
Played a blinder today.

Newcastle Fan
He channeled his inner Tim Krul for that performance, hope he can build on it.
Happinesstan
Good to hear he had a good game. Got no reason to wish ill on any of the players. they've already signed for the club, I think that's enough for anybody.
Conjo
He channeled his inner Tim Krul for that performance, hope he can build on it. Coming from Nottingham I think he must have taken inspiration from one of Mark Crossleys wordlies against us, the bastard.
Guest
That Fulham 1-4 when it could easily have been 8-4 was unreal.

huss9
think we played stoke home one season when jack butland had an absolute 10/10 against. we hammered them but just couldnt get passed him.
Guest reefatoon
Yeah he had a great game yesterday and made some quality saves. Mind, I do think that early double save at the start of the game, the initial save from the freekick he parried back into a dangerous area instead of pushing it away from goal, but he made up for it with the class second save. Sean
Said he was solid to much derision. Could prove to be as good or even better than Dubravka if he can keep the silly errors at bay.
Papavasiliou
Yeah he had a great game yesterday and made some quality saves. Mind, I do think that early double save at the start of the game, the initial save from the freekick he parried back into a dangerous area instead of pushing it away from goal, but he made up for it with the class second save. The last few times I've seen him he seems to be constantly trying to get a really strong hand behind the ball as much as possible when making saves. Leads to a lot of palming stuff out for the defenders to try and hoof away or needing to make those double saves.

Newcastle Fan
He's been really good since he came back to the side, i'm actually not sure i want Dubravka back very quickly, deserves to keep his place.
Guest
Well that would be a very Bruce thing to do. ‘It’d be unfair’ etc. When Dubravka’s back, he plays.
