What the fuck is wrong with football, jesus christ.

It's been an ongoing trend since the start of the season actually I've noticed. Levels of softness shooting up.

Fouls given for nothing. Fouls for playing the ball. Yellow cards for playing the ball... Today just went overboard with how we were involved.

:sadnod: The worst part of it all is that people are defending how fucking soft it is. It's a game revolving around kicking a ball around. People are going to get kicked and stamped on.

Wasn't just in our game either, there was a moment in Chelsea's game where Cahill missed the ball and kicked Wickham in the stomach, it was just a swing and a miss, nowt malicious, no studs, and yet the commentator is banging on about how it could've been a red. Sigh.

Let's not forget that the biggest benefactory has actually been Pards whose lot conceded an overhead kick that was disallowed for "dangerous play" despite no contact with another player.

So strikers aren't allowed to kick it inside the penalty area any more. That's what it's come to.

According to Goals on Sunday, Noble's red card might not get rescinded because West Ham players surrounded the ref. Kinda goes against what they were saying on MOTD yesterday that you must surround the ref because cheating is important.

Not surprising from Keown tbh. This is the man who did exactly what he's advocating to RVN when he was playing. Talking unmitigated crap eloquently is still talking unmitigated crap.
