SimplyAnth
What a dreadful footballer Cisse is, thick as castle walls and size 17 clowns boots. I`d have Rivierelino up top over him,no bother. Scary that the manager thought he would do a job up top today. Inept.
Gallowgate Toon
Very disappointing. No point in having that much of the ball if the two players that are going to be on it most have such little penetration. I genuinely think Coloccini has a better range than Colback. Sissoko or Wijnaldum has to be moved there, ASAP. Good to see us trying to control the game but we really need to work on it. We did get into some good positions with some interchanges but far too often played shite final balls etc. Players obviously aren't the most confident and they were sometimes snatching in quicker passing moves. It's genuinely difficult to break teams down like that when they're deep and really well organised but we shot ourselves in the foot with some pathetic defending and gave away too much space to them on the break - probably down to a lack of physicality. New lads are still trying to adapt. Wijnaldum's a quality footballer but he was caught out by the pace a bit, Thauvin seemed a bit awe-struck by it all. Perez & de Jong to start the next game. Sack Colback off, please, he was useless again.
NG32
Terrible. McClaren out.
Doctor Zaius
Haidara was shite, not sure what he offers tbh. Certainly not an improvement on Santon. Anita and Colback are both wank as well, especially the former. Thauvain looked poor. Sissoko just makes me laugh, as if he has the nerve to whore himself about in the press after a move to a better side as well. Worst of the bunch was Cisse though, not interested one little bit. Dreadful.
SimplyAnth
McClaren on MNF next, should be interesting. Hope he's as angry as I am.
midds
6 points from the last 48 available. We've taken an eighth of the points available since March.
Dave
'Big wake up call' according to McClaren, saying we didn't do what we've done in the other matches so far. Weren't right at it and workrate needs to be 100% every game or we'll be beat.
Beren
Really fucking depressing isn't it? The sort of result/performance that makes you think Newcastle should quit while they're behind hopefully another international break is around the corner

Astroblack
Can't believe I was actually looking forward to this game for over two weeks. Such disappointment.

Figures 1-0 Football
Feel like we need to set up a support group, where we can just all meet up and shout at walls/cry endlessly and walk in circles after each game.
Darth Crooks
It's not even work rate though is it?
WarrenBartonCentrePartin
"We didn't do what we've been doing for the past four games" Well, we did, Steve. We didn't score.
Ketsbaia
We can't score, can't defend - the most dangerous combo around. We're so slow, predictable and lack any dynamism with the ball. Transitions are slow, we can't get in behind the defence and we don't even have set pieces to bail us out. Another 10 hours and we still wouldn't have scored. Huge changes are needed for Watford, which is already a must win. Drop Cisse, drop Sissoko and play Perez and De Jong, who looked good after coming on. We're in trouble. Altamullan
Really hoped we'd have a settled effective formation and bit of confidence (lads and us) going into next three games. Will happily settle for first away win of the season at The Palladium of Shite.

SimplyAnth
Neville talking a bit of sense, we have a real problem in central midfield. It's not working.

huss9
stick perez in central midfield ffs. anywhere. just play him. he's the only one who can pick a pass - bar SDJ maybe.
Varadi
I would try Tiote and Wijnaldum in there tbh, so sick of Anita and Colback offering nothing at all.
Altamullan
Neville talking a bit of sense, we have a real problem in central midfield. It's not working. Compelling argument; tbf it is an argument that has been echoing around in here all season. Solution showed itself tonight: SDJ at 10; Perez at LF (or RAa at LF & AP at CF) GW at CM. r0cafella
I would try Tiote and Wijnaldum in there tbh, so sick of Anita and Colback offering nothing at all. Tiote is rank bad, every bit as bad as the aforementioned.
jdckelly
I would try Tiote and Wijnaldum in there tbh, so sick of Anita and Colback offering nothing at all. the two are a terrible pairing but when they brought up the passing thing it seems (to me anyway) more instruction from the manager than the players being incapable of passing forward
