nemtizz
OptaJoe @OptaJoe 1h1 hour ago 2 - Moussa Sissoko has provided as many assists in this game as he had in his previous 27 Premier League games combined (2). Buses. OptaJoe @OptaJoe 32m32 minutes ago 3 - Wijnaldum has scored Newcastle United's first PL hat-trick since October 2011 (Ba v Stoke City). Courage. OptaJoe @OptaJoe 24m24 minutes ago 2 - M Sissoko has 3 assists v Norwich; only the 2nd time a Newcastle player has done this in a single PL game (A Cole, March 1994). Handy. OptaJoe @OptaJoe 9m9 minutes ago 2 - Wijnaldum is only the 2nd Newcastle United player ever to score 4+ goals in a single PL match (Shearer v Sheff Weds, Sep 1999). Heroic. OptaJoe @OptaJoe 7m7 minutes ago 6 - Newcastle United scored with all six of their shots on target. Unremitting. OptaJoe @OptaJoe 4m4 minutes ago 8 - Newcastle United v Norwich City saw eight goals scored; the most seen in a PL game so far in the 2015/16 campaign. Bonanza. Altamullan
Have to say Ayoze was just as instrumental as Sissoko man. He linked up every single one of these counters under tons of pressure and being tackled as he played it. Yep, thought he was excellent.

Yorkie
I found myself harping on about the potential of our front six a few weeks ago, but I have to say I was starting to lose all hope of it ever clicking. Really, really fucking enjoyed that.
sempuki
6 goals from 6 shots on target. Nice.
Foluwashola
That front four could rape Subderland's defence senseless if they're up for it like. Make it so Schteve.

NUFCDoog
Best possible result going into next week as well like. Feels like years since we went into a derby on a decent win. Really is no excuses for next week now.

Unbelievable
No idea what the plan was for the first 15-20 minutes of the second half, but after Norwich decided to turn down the invitation to get back into the game with minimal effort we found another gear or two and smashed them to bits. We look made for counter attacking football though, not the possession style that McClaren fancies himself playing.

ponsaelius
When was the last time we won by 4 goals? mackems 5-1? Stoke? Palace? Stoke was indeed 5-1, but against 9 men. 'Palace' you've invented in your head.
Chicane
Wahey. Had little internet access and couldn't watch the game so just checked this thread for the score periodically. Saw it was 3-2 and thought we'd throw it away again but just checked and saw this Wijnaldum

I like this. Total football. No regrets if we went down doing that tbh.
