Jayson
Anita was superb for me, they had no room in the middle for most of the game. De jong aswell was organising everyones positions while he was on. Perez made the run to give Gini space, but he actually closed players down far less than De jong did which i find odd. La Parka
Thought De Jong made a great "pivot" for the attacks.
54
Delighted with the win but it proves that the c***s simply can't be arsed most of the time. There was nothing different there but increased effort. f***ing w*****s. Absolutely the bottom line. Shows them up completely. None more so than sissoko who was magnificent at both ends of the pitch. No excuses here and it can't be highlighted enough. The players are fucking this up as much as the coaches who apparently can't keep them motivated. Bar the assists I thought he was pretty wank tbh, but I guess he did his job
Dave
McClaren: we spoke about how the two hardest working players had to be Sissoko and Wijnaldum. Interesting.
BlueStar
Needed those points like, dunno where that performance came from, finally had a bit of bite. But like has been said, where the fuck was it for the other games? We've had good games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U as well, but that's not where we need to be picking up our bread and butter points. Negatives to take from the game were the constant sports direct adverts trying to sell Liverpool shirts to people in China and the fact the "Mag-pie" is now just a standard sized mince and onion pie. Tachikoma
Klopp: "Newcastle not only playing long ball, they were playing build up" - best thing I've heard anyone say about us for some time.

The College Dropout
I have to Cisse played well to say he was isolated half the time. Plus Colback worked his socks off.
Dave
Did they pause a replay of the second goal? Looked close to being offside, no?
nemtizz
Did they pause a replay of the second goal? Looked close to being offside, no? Yeah I thought Sissoko waited too long to play it.

Tachikoma
Did they pause a replay of the second goal? Looked close to being offside, no? Didn't, funnily enough. I half-expected the linesman to rule out that goal when it happened.
Lenny
Did they pause a replay of the second goal? Looked close to being offside, no? My initial thought was he was off.

mickthemagpie
To be honest, didn't celebrate the 1st goal. And didn't think we could hold on. But went bonkers when that Gini shot trickled in. Well done lads!
Village Idiot
Heh, just came back from having a few beers with friends. I even had NUFC notifications turned off from my phone as I was expecting the worst. Congratulations What a fucking weird club though.
Dr Venkman
Perhaps he's gone back to Pardball? Players will be more used to it and we used to get the odd result like this. Didn't see the game like so that might be bollocks.

Didn't see the game like so that might be bollocks. We created the same amount we used to under that cunt but the standard of play and movement when we had it was far superior, we also pressed around the halfway line for a change.
