Newcastle United v Aston Villa - 19/12/15 (5:30PM kick off - live on Sky Sports)

I'd be inclined to leave the starting 11 alone. Both Mitrovic and Perez benefitted from coming on against tiring players.

This.

We won't hammer them.

We need to win and keep this momentum going otherwise the last 2 weeks will count for nothing.

It'll be a grind of that I've no doubt.

If you keep Mitro and Perez on the bench after their performances, you take away some of the motivation to put their all in. At least one should start next weekend.

De Jong did quite well and Cisse covered a lot of ground. If McClaren has anything about him he'll be able to build on the last 2 results and keep all of the players happy. Changing a winning team isn't a good start. I really do think that both benefited from coming from the bench. Mitrovic especially is struggling to last 90 minutes.

I would like to see Perez in for Colback with De Jong dropping into midfield. Against a struggling side like Villa we need to be dominating possession and we aren't going to do that with two defensive midfielders. If Colback plays then he has to show much more drive than he has so far this season.

Think Villa are the team we have beaten most in the Premier League. Not going to be a crushing win as Villa would probably know we are their best chance of getting some points on the board for a while. 2-1 nervy lead and an injury time Sissoko goal to seal it.

I dont think it will be as easy as people expect. They need wins now & our side need consistency, we rarely do things easily. Their passing is much better since Garde came in, cant judge much v Arsenal. Drew against southampton & scored 2 v watford week before. They will test us on set pieces i reckon.

I don't think anyone thinks it will be easy, predicting a win =/= easy.
