Poor sods. Someone find the "breakfast photo", the one with the dream coaching team looking like cavemen.

It must be found

Such dark days

It's the way Steve Stone looks so happy and interested with Woodman eating his egg on toast that makes it so good

Woodman himself looking like a bit of a window licker and Carver just being his standard mouth breathing self.  No wonder he is always licking his chops.

I quite like WBA, so I feel a great deal of pity for them.

He had the lowest points per game ratio in 2016 of all PL and Football League clubs, for fucks sake! This is absolutely mental. How has this been allowed to happen?

He broke every unwanted record going when he was here. How many games was it without a goal from a set piece?

He's not the most exciting appointment ever but he does at least play reasonably attacking football, takes the FA cup seriously, and is capable of doing well in the league. His downward trends in form are a concern but every manager has those really, there's a reason most of them end up getting sacked.

Wut?

From the BBC Latest football news site:

Carvew joins West Brom's backroom staff

West Brom name Alan Pardew as new head coach

With Gary Megson leaving the Hawthorns, Alan Pardew has decided to add his former assistant at Newcastle, John Carver, to his backroom staff at The Hawthorns.

Pardew's deal is a two-and-a-half-year contract, taking him until the end of the 2019-20 season at The Hawthorns.

Obviously a typo but still  ;D
