Last night the live video of the match on Facebook got cut short as the poor girl filming it was grassed up. Call me paranoid but there were a fair few obsessed mackems on the live video feed commenting/fishing. Wouldn't put it past one of them phoning in to the ground. I can`t logically see it being a NUFC or Norwich fan watching it deciding to get it cut off.

I seem to remember a time when they were locked in during matches and couldn't leave at HT because too many fans had been doing it. They wouldn't open the doors until 20 minutes before the end and used to be turned back to their seats.

That sounds remarkably illegal.

 aye, absolute weapons grade horse-shite from Stfiler like.

He's right. The match in question was against Charlton Athletic at the SoS in 2003. They scored 3 own goals in the first half hour and were 3-0 down and 1000s of them tried to leave but they refused to open the big exit gates to let them out and made them stay until the 60 odd minute mark before allowing them to leave. Chris Kamara was doing the match on soccer Saturday and couldn't speak for laughing.

They ended up losing the match 3-1 and finished the season bottom of the league with a miserly 19 points.

Well what a week that was for north east football !

Both our clubs played their full part in exciting matches with the drama of unlikely two goal deficits being overturned late in the game and last gasp winners sending fans into raptures.

Both teams should be commended for the excitement they have provided

Sounds like Inter Milan have won the Alvarez case, Sunderland will have to pay them €10.5m

:mackems:

Translated from Gazzetta Dello Sport:

Alvarez, Inter won the Tas: Sunderland pays 10.5 million

They filter the first rumors on the dispute between the clubs founded to payment by Argentina: is coming soon the judgment of the Court of Lausanne which will be conducive to the Nerazzurri

SEPTEMBER 30, 2016 - MILAN

By now it is also resigning the British press. Inter will receive from Sunderland 10.5 million euro for the Argentine Ricky Alvarez. In fact, even the Daily Mail has confirmed that the decision by the Lausanne Tas will be in favor of the Nerazzurri.

THE STORY - The story dates back to 2015, when the English club refused to pay the clause eight million pounds (just 10.5 million euro) which is appropriate for the Black Cats salvation, which that season occurred, and even he accused Inter of them loaned a player who had need for knee surgery, which the Corso Vittorio Emanuele company has always vehemently denied. The issue has been dragged up to FIFA, which had given reason to the Nerazzurri; Both clubs, however, have agreed to submit further appeal to the Swiss court; the rumors give Tas oriented to confirm the decision of FIFA, which would thus become enforceable. A short sentence that will definitely reason (and several pennies) to Inter.

Thats an expensive loan deal, like... or does that mean that he will become their player?!
