Ronaldo
Like Villa away we should've been pressing from the first minute. We didn't for some reason and handed the game to the opposition. I'm not sure why.
joeyt
Praying him and Colback have had a massive argument
triggs
If he's going to make mistakes and learn from them, better it be now than later in the season. Hope he learned that: 1. Anita is never a right winger. 2. Colback was, is and will forever be shit. 3. Hanley is Williamson Mk2. Play Mbemba when available. 4. Don't throw on Shelvey when we're down. Never going to help. 5. Two minions up front won't work. Need a goalscoring Mitrovic/Carrol type up front. 6. Get Ayoze off set pieces and fucking sort out both offensive and defensive set pieces. 7. Ritchie is great. Keep him on the right. It did help
Dinho lad
His methods take time. Footballers are too dumb to understand them that quickly. But no excuses for that poor lineup.
midds
If he's going to insist on 4-2-3-1 then he's got to change the personnel. Playing 2 sitting midfielders like Hayden and that other cunt isn't going to win you games or get you promotion from this division. Got it wrong tonight and needs to adjust the system or the players he chooses for the roles imo.
Shelveys Hair
Rafa was using psychology, he was showing Colback and Anita how shiite they were so they dont cry when they sit on the bench all season.
Mole_Toonfan
I think Diame solves one area. Mitrovic coming back helps another. Left-back. Should be priority imo we can't rely on it all coming from Janmaat again this season. Need a winger IMO, if nothing else it stops the idea of Anita ever playing there again. I'm not too concerned really, i trust him to make the right changes and to get on the right track relatively quickly.
nufcjb
Would Anita be better back at right back? And swap positions with Janmaat perhaps?
Mole_Toonfan
I don't have an issue with Anita playing fullback, he should never play on the wings or in midfield though.
toon25
He has to fix a completely different mentality now. Last season he had to get the team to work for each other because they were expected to lose. This season they're expected to win. The players have to do more than turn up. They have to make the better decisions going forward. Spot on
Hanshithispantz
Janmaats never a winger like - he's great at overlapping from deep. Ritchie stays there anyway but LW is still up for grabs.
triggs
Would Anita be better back at right back? And swap positions with Janmaat perhaps? Janmaat probably wouldn't be a good winger and he's probably a better right back than Anita

afar
Janmaats never a winger like - he's great at overlapping from deep. Ritchie stays there anyway but LW is still up for grabs. Our whole left side is a bit of a concern and needs sorting.

Go all out for Knockaert or another proper winger, no Anita, Janmaat or any other player who isn't a winger.

I do worry that 4-2-3-1 isn't really the right formation for this division (and not with the players we have like you say). It's much more physical and direct here, you can't control a game in a technical way like you can in the Premiership as the opposition doesn't want to play a technical passing game against us. Rafa has to think about that, tonight we should have focused more on using what quality we have and throw that forward to hurt teams. Not sit back with 7 players in our half and hope the 4 left can find a way to unlock the opposition on their own.

Kanji
aye honestly just say fuck it and sign Knockaert and another attacker. Tempted to just go with Jamez at LB. MBemba back in CB. Diame next to Hayden or Shelvey.
HaydnNUFC
Another winger and striker please Rafa. Maybe a LB too if Dummett is planned to be ahead of Gamez in the pecking order.

Bigger issue is the other wing has to be someone who is of legitimate quality and not Anita.
The College Dropout
Think he got a lot wrong and not sure about the options. Diame will be key, wherever he plays he'll provide pace and power which we lack. Same with Mitrovic. The last time we were in the division, we were as big and strong as any throughout the 11. That left side we had was so secure and good going forward too

Chris Banaloona
Think his recruitment has been questionable. Hasn't bought the players we need most (LB, Winger, Creative Midfielder and a Striker) plus the players he's bought bar Ritchie were shite. Dare I say it but I don't think we'll go up.
