I'll be staggered if it's anything but an easy win for Liverpool. We're never ever any good at Anfield.

We've never beaten Swansea in the premier league at home, Man City have won the last 13 games against us in the league, these are the records we have to beat to stay in the league, Rafa has got this. Another battling draw, I'm calling it.

Predicted a score draw tonight, City have been disinterested for months and we were clearly getting better. This one, though, not expecting anything. Have to hope that European fixtures and the Rafa effect distract them. Think we'll get beat, fwiw.

Came into this game with three consecutive league wins and just put PSG out of the CL. They have been in canny form since De Bruyne returned, basically.

Things to be optimistic about:

1 less "rest day" during a hectic schedule for them (or is that only our excuse?)

A "battling" Merseyside Derby before and an away game at Villareal after might convince Klopp to rest players

Put out a weakened team against Bournemouth

Good performance against Citeh could give us a platform to perform

Sunderland play Arsenal (H) and Stoke (A)- not easy games for a win

Norwich play Arsenal (A)

Need something here if we're going to stay up but another point would be 2 great points from 2 tough fixtures.

Capable of getting results without playing well as a team because of the amount of money they've spent. They never looked that bothered tonight either imo.
