AyeDubbleYoo
He was pretty good, I still think a midfield of him and Shelvey is far too easy to play through though.
Footsoldier
I've never rated but him overall Diame had a good game today. Or first half at least. Disappeared along with the others in second half. I wish he would stop these little flicks that give the ball away so often in our own half though
Skeletor
Turned it around since Lascelles chinned him in training for being lazy.
Footsoldier
He needs to chin the forwards next then.
Minhosa
Have never liked him but his general effort and overall effectiveness have improved remarkably over the last few weeks.
FustinoSolano
Have to say I'm shocked at his recent run of form, didn't think he had it in him but pleased to admit I'm wrong. However it does coincide with Rafa actually playing him in his more natural midfield role rather than a number 10 which he clearly was never suited to. I rated him when he was at Wigan and West Ham. His bursts from a deep midfield role were really effective so i was surprised to see him used behind the striker last season. Shays Given Tim Flowers
He's doing good, but I'm not convinced he can perform consistently for 90 minutes.
Sho Time
That's because he's absolutely enforcing the midfield and popping up everywhere. If he can only do that for say 60-70 minutes, we're immensely improved for that time and we need all the help we can get. Another cracking performance by him, although after losing the ball twice (that failed backheel to Shelvey which sent them on the counter, and that pass to Dummett which went behind him) his head seemed to drop a bit. Really hope that doesn't impact him going into the next game - it shouldn't - but we support Newcastle United so I wouldn't be surprised.

Hanshithispantz
We need to stick every player on our books in some sort of royal rumble with Lascelles.
Guest firetotheworks
Fuck the haters Mo. £16 million well spent.
Hanshithispantz
Great again. Madness how he's went from pretty much a joke to probably the first person on the team sheet Well along with Lascelles anyway.

Twinport53
Last season he could barely run. Now he's a gazelle.

M1tche
Shelvey took MOM and rightly so, but Diame as class today aswell. Eats up the ground so easily atm and wins some crucial tackles
OoOGazOoO
Massive performance from Diame, countless times he broke the play up, vital performance.
samptime29
Tremendous performance. Didn't think he had it in him, but really stepped up his game past few weeks. Well done lad.
wormy
Who is this and where is the real Mo Diame? Scratch that. We'll keep this one.
jdckelly
You know I didn't think he was capable of playing central midfield all that well and the only position he was half way effective was behind the striker but what a turn around in form. Never happier to be wrong
