For all of the control and balance Rafa has been speaking about for the last few weeks, we have none.

 

Sels looks as dodgy as fuck. Janmaat has been ok on the ball, but the three other defenders and Anita have been extremely sluggish in the ball, so we haven't taken the ball out of defence well at all. Mbemba would help there.

 

We haven't really brought Ritchie or Gayle into the game yet, what little they have had they have shown good glimpses. We can expect Perez to provide all the creativity / target man, the ball won't stick to him so we need to bring the midfielders closer to him. It's a shame Diame or even Sissoko aren't on the bench as these would help here.
