DeAndre Yedlin (now playing for Inter Miami)

Recommended Posts

5 minutes before the first goal he and Ritchie were given a clear warning where their wing back managed to get through unmarked. They then managed to let him do it for the first and the second goal, almost identically, whilst both of them flapped their arms around and moaned at others.

Fucking amateurish, the sort of thing you’d expect to see in Sunday league.

Never mind the first 2 goals, absolutely pathetic for the third...doesn't even bother his arse tracking Richarlison. Completely gave up ffs.

I’d wager he does the most running of any of our players in any given match.

Poor performance from him, but he’s been rock solid all season.

also I love him unconditionally

I was beginning to think he might have been told to do a man marking job on Richarlison, the amount of times he drifted into bizarre positions all over the pitch, and also seemed to look for him when ever they got the ball. Which made him far too narrow and allowed Zeegalar all the freedom he wanted with Ritchie not tracking back for some inexplicable reason.

Rate him.  But no doubting he has been poor the last two games and whilst he looked good for a lot of the game, was caught out a couple of times v Man U.

Was Lascelles the glue holding all of these fuckers together or something?  The defence looks unrecognisable from how we played earlier in the season.

Awful defending from him again there. Ball watching.

Its not ball watching, he actively sprints forward out of position. Like the trigger on his controller got jammed.

Their first goal was textbook ball watching. Had no idea where his man was and was 100% concentrating on the flight of the ball.

Chancel might have been a bit rusty today. Rather keep playing him than f***ing Manquillo! Chancel will get better soon.

You're in the wrong thread cunt!

Tbf, either way you can agree we don't want to see Manquillo, regardless of the alternatives. Although maybe Rafa was resting his prize asset for the Chelsea game. :(

He's a good athlete and uses his pace well in an attacking sense, but his defensive positioning is woeful and it's costing us a lot of goals.

Yet 5 games or so ago he wasn't and he was saving us goals. Maybe he's part of the poor form of the team, that and himself playing poorly as well.
