Guest firetotheworks
Nice to see us benefit from one of the Premier League's ridiculous decisions for once. It would be nice if they could just stop making ridiculous decisions though, the whole thing's a joke.
xLiaaamx
For the most part its true. We get like 1 penalty a season. (Which we then miss. Or the referee overturns it and gives them a freekick when it's scored.) No one's been sent off against us at this level for over 4 years. Damn right I'm going to turn a blind eye if for once we get a small slither our way, considering the shite we usually deal with.
Guest firetotheworks
EVERYONE HATES NEWCASTLE AND THE REFS NEVER GIVE US ANY FREEKICKS OR PENALTIES AND ALL OUR PLAYERS GET BANNED!!!! (every match thread ever) Us not having a player sent off against us since 2013 is still outrageous mind, there have been loads of blatant red cards. Both were probably red cards, the one against us is a yellow.

Kenedy - should have been off, wasnt Arter - should have been off, wasnt Hayden - should have been off, was Bad decisions but isnt that quite evenly shit? joeyt
The Huddersfield game last year was a disgrace. Kachunga kicked Mbemba in the face and I'm sure one of their players stood on one of ours

Stottie
So does the ref get a bollocking for seeing it but not awarding a card to go with the free kick? It is obvious violent conduct.
Dave
Absolutely ludicrous decision. Officials openly lying to cover up a massive mistake made during the match.

Ameritoon
Pretty sure the FA used to say they can't give retrospective bans if a ref saw it because of FIFA rules, then FIFA confirmed that wasn't true. Now the FA just doesn't do it for no reason at all. Such a bizarre rule that helps no one.
Bimpy474
I think he's got away with it because of the fuss that'll be made about the Arter tackle being only a yellow. If you give Kenedy a red, you have upgrade Arter's surely, something they also say they can't do.

tmonkey
Kenedy - violent conduct, kicking/lashing out at a player out of frustration. Has to be a red card if the ref sees it. Hayden - questionable red card, most likely a referee evening things out after missing the Kenedy kick, but possibly justifiable because of the way Hayden lunged in studs up and connected with the back of the calf. Wasn't intentional but somewhat dangerous. Arter - cynical foul but never more than a yellow card. The manner in which he swings the leg round being more of a standard kick than a Lui Kang lunge like Hayden's was.

Sky pundits reckoned Artur's was worse that Kenedy's like, though I don't recall the reason stated now.
