So do we think we'll see both Merino and Shelvey in midfield? Hard to see Merino being dropped.

We should be able to have better build ups but I do have concerns for the defence aspect.  Hayden's defensive work is vital.

What was the commentator saying about Mitro leaving earlier? I didn't catch it.

We've turned down a couple of loan bids from Seria A clubs and won't let him go unless we get another striker.

Maybe everyone - including Chancel - has been lying to themselves as to where his best position really is [emoji38]

Maybe he's just been Rafa'd.

Nah, I like him and he's done as well as could be expected at LB but its clear he's not good enough to play there full time IMO

I don't even mean LB. Maybe it's just the bath salts talking but I'm now one of the mouth breathing crowd who want to see him in midfield.

He'd probably be better than Manquillo at right back tbh

Think if we play Joselu upfront we could potentially go 4-3-3.

Drop Perez, have Hayden holding and Merino and Shelvey in central midfield.

Nothing we'd not heard. Have turned down italian loan offers and interest is still there.

Thanks Thomas and Penn

I know i have said this before but IMO Rafa won't do that. Relies too much on the wingers, not enough mobility around the striker and will lead to the striker being isolated due to the midfielders in question not being comfortable in the final third.

Fact of the matter is we need an attacking midfielder we can rely on, quite obviously none of them are good enough.
