Is he thinking he might get a chance at Chelsea or something? Wolves seem to be getting in decent players, and have a decent manager. Morata's being linked with a host of clubs this window, so he's probably on his way out soon. They probably don't want to make the same mistake they made with Lukaku, Salah and KDB.
