Under conte he has some resurgence like how kulusevski had in a hybrid winger-forward role but that's it.

Hadn't seen a great deal of him but was keen to see his world class showing at the Euro's. Turned out to be Phil Foden world class

He was great at the Euros for Georgia. Certainly not overrated. Very talented player who’s allowed a dip in his early 20s. Guy was playing in Georgia 3 years ago ffs  Had probably fuck all elite coaching and just plays of pure ability.

To be fair I think he's wanted out for awhile but got persuaded to stay last season. Plus think he flirted with retirement from england also and got convinced to stay on there aswell. 

 

But certainly seems to have fallen off a cliff this year. Never rated him as a defender really anyway, from a reading the game perspective. He just had cheat code pace to get himself out of trouble but always been an average player if you get what I mean.

Was only playing back in Georgia due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine tbf.
