Other clubs' transfers

They will want a new figurehead because Salah is their icon as is Van Dijk. And Trent is the local boy superstar too, integral to how they play.

Allison could also go because Marmadishivilli is coming in the summer.

All are amongst the best in the world in their positions.

It would like if we lost Isak, Botman, Bruno and Hall in one summer.

That’s a heck of a spine.

Isn’t he on the last year of his contract? At the very most he’s only got 2 years so they’ll be shipping him out this summer unless he signs a new deal (which I doubt).

And tbf most players would be a massive step down from Salah.

I don't understand the hostility Liverpool fans have towards TAA, that they don't have for Salah and VVD. Yes he's a local lad, but he's played 350 games for them and won everything, maybe he wants to travel a bit and try something new? He owes them nothing. They seem to think he should sign a new contract so Liverpool gets a fee, but that could completely jeopardise his move. What if Liverpool want £80m for him and Madrid say no thanks? He arrived as a child for free and after everything he's done he should be allowed to go for free with his head held high.

The fact that Liverpool haven’t sorted contracts for those three and they’ve been open about it in public suggests they’re not happy about the way they’ve been handled by the club. Most clubs don’t have an issue locking down their best players who have been there for years during a premier league title winning season so it suggests there are some issues we don’t know about

I thought they probably ought to have sold at least one of them last year if not 2 to fund Arne Slot rebuild, however I also thought they wouldnt be competitive for the title in the period of transition anyway so my thought was good time to rebuild under new coach. Evidently I am wrong and was probably worth it if they all go.

Liverpool fans have nothing to be angry at TAA for, he has given loads to the club. Spoiled cunts.

TAA off on a free, massive downgrade incoming. VVD / Salah could be off and no news because they’re still playing games whilst title is ongoing. Allison potentially wanting out in summer for that insane Saudi money having won everything with Liverpool. A midfield three where I’m not convinced it’s some legit top stuff and need a new body, with an attack that’s inconsistent outside of Salah and needing to get rid of Nunez.

They’ll likely be champions, but there’s a strong chance they could be in a poor shape next season.

Edit: Also forgot Robertson over past 18 months is showing more a player who’s aging and legs are going too.

But in their minds they actually think they will be signing Isak to replace Salah, as one of the moves.

The state of that team if those three leave man. But still it makes sense to them.

Isak the Salah "replacement".

The delusion out here is crazy.

Getting no money for him is absolutely brutal.

What's his value ordinarily? Probably around £65 million or more?

Ooooooof!!!

Works both ways Kaka - how many youngsters have they poached? Carvalho, Sepp Van den Berg, Bobby Clark, Harvey Elliott - made good money on the first 3

Yeah, I have no sympathy whatsoever.

They should have looked to sell him last summer.

If they end up losing Salah, VDV and Trent for nothing this summer that would be extraordinarily poor from them due to the value those players have had recently.

What was that Saudi bid they turned down for Salah again £200 million?! Crazy.

Looking forward to the summer, should be very interesting.

Spot on but there's not a chance they'll see it that way, they'll say be betrayed them

Plus if he signed a contract to get Liverpool a fee he would just be taking money out of his pocket with a lower signing on fee and reduced wages, why on earth should he do that just so FSG can benefit

Yep arguably that’s 3 of their best 4 in danger of going - with Alisson potentially - Robertson at the end of his cycle - bar Gakpo an underperforming (relatively speaking) frontline - some job ahead
