Other clubs' transfers

If Leon Bailey goes for more than Maxi then it's obvious why people would be bothered by it like [emoji38]

The Premier League has become almost entirely about 'managing' some arbitrary PSR system and we seem to be the only club not allowed to fish in the biggest pond. It's understandable only up until you know how much of a con PSR is.

I don't really mind the Saudis buying players from other PL teams. Totally undermines any virtue-signalling thrown our way by dickhead fans of other clubs. Also makes any success we have all the more sweeter if our rivals are benefiting from Saudi coin too.

Genuinely annoying how Saudis seemingly bail out our Premier League rivals quite often. Bet Nunez goes to Saudi for a high fee as well.

Clubs like Villa will spaff it though, so I don’t care. As long as we keep spending and getting right players, that’s all that matters.

I'm someone who is sick of the Villa praise of late

But they have bought/sold/developed players extremely well imo

If they were given a £80m helping hand from Saudi, and bought a couple defenders/Rashford/Asensio or replacements etc, they'd be hard to match next season

Probably the same people screaming for Saudi clubs to loan us players for free or buy our shit for obscene amounts.

It's always a bitter pill for me to swallow seeing them offer mad money for the likes of Duran and Henderson, then you hear rumours of players like Casemiro going for big fees too, but we're selling ASM for a measly 20m.

We've a viable loophole to help with PSR and I get why maybe the owners don't want to do it but when you see cunts like Chelsea selling their women's team and carparks to themselves to get around PSR then I think we should use every trick we can too.

real madrid don't sign that type of players for transfer fees. If they are genuinely interested Perez will be tapping him up for years so he joins on a free when his contract is up.

Unsettle him all summer with constant front pages on Marca and other outlets, then sign him on a lesser fee the following year.

They don’t recently, but this summer they will need to spend big on a CB and CM at a minimum.

Rudgier injured his knee, Alaba done as a footballer, Militao getting too many injuries and Ascencio is just a squad player long term.

Be interesting to see if he plays their last 2 home games now. Could be quite uncomfortable for all concerned...

To be fair he barely played yesterday…

I thought him drifting in to midfield first half was that new tactic they all use...turns out he just wanted to be as far away from the away end as possible.

I quite like that we're not taking the when they go low we go lower approach. Feel confident we'll be challenging on all fronts eventually anyway, just not as fast as some had hoped when PIF bought us.

I think he's one of the best right backs the league has seen

The premier league has never had a really great RB though IMO, and we still never see Trent in anyone’s all time XI. People talk about him as if he’s the English Cafu. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t make my all time top 5 premier league RB’s.
