He’s at that level?

More the fact Real Madrid are confident of getting Rodri. Anderson slots neatly into that role.

Again, does he though? Rodri is one of the best game readers and DMs in Europe.

I’m not putting down Ando but that’s a very high bar.

Not saying it’s the right move (for either party) but it appears to be ‘the move’. Ando needs to be careful he isn’t Pepped into the next Kalvin Phillips.

Man City are basically throwing shit at a wall these days. Anderson will be given a run in the side to see if he can nail down a place, if he can’t then he becomes a rotation player and another 50-70m player will arrive in the next window.

Anderson would be a pretty natural Bruno heir imho too. Anderson at LCM, Bruno at RCM and a new DM or Miley as the 6 would be a really interesting midfield 3. You could also play Miley and Anderson in a double pivot with Bruno as a 10. You could play Miley and Bruno in a double pivot and have Anderson as a 10 too.

Only reason I can see Man City buying Anderson is stop someone else having him. Don't think he'd make their 1st 11 but would be a useful backup.

See Kalvin Phillips.

Madness that we didn't put in a buy back clause

Doubt we could. The transfer to Forest was very much Take It or Leave It

Anderson vs. Tonali feels relatively close (I believe Anderson may have the higher ceiling) but there’s a huge emotional/sentimental upside to Anderson. Boyhood club, academy product, England regular- cheered our cup win on from the stands with his family. I would love him back here.

My dream transfer this summer, id sacrifice Tonali for him and possibly Tino if Suds can knock up a decent replacement

Did Philips even have one good game for them? What a waste of a career, on loan at the 17th place Championship side.

Man City might need a new manager come the summer, I'm not convinced Pep is staying.

If i knew Pep was leaving and with those 115 charges hanging over their head, i would be reluctant to go there.

Neymar in talks to join MLS, specifically FC Cincinnati. The idea of Neymar wandering around downtown Cincinnati is hilarious to me [emoji38]

Arsenal and Chelsea are leading the chase to sign Newcastle's Lewis Hall, 21, but the Magpies will not let the left-back leave easily. (Caught Offside, external)

Can you imagine
