If I was an aging footballer I’d definitely be going to the MLS rather than becoming a squad player in Europe.

Orlando would be a belter place to see out your career.

Yeah, really cool. He has small children too I read, 4 under age 10 so will be an amazing place for them next few years. He's also a huge fan of American sports and talk about it a lot - and has been pretty vocal MLS watcher for many years.

Really pumped to see him play for Orlando.

Fun fact - 3 of his kids have the same birthday despite being born in 3 different years.

Fucking hell, they're so far ahead of the majority of the league they can afford to let someone like him leave for free [emoji38]

Haven’t the rules changed and it’s now more focussed on wages? If so they’ll be saving a bucket load going into next season.

I’ve got 2 x cousins who have the same birthday 2 x years apart and it’s the day before their mams birthday.

They’re not related to Mo Salah though.

Not quite the same but Joe Willock shares his birthday with his older brother Matty, three years apart.

Imagine being in a position to just let someone like that go for nowt before their contract is even up.

I can only imagine the stick our lot would be getting for not being better sellers. Doesn't mean a fucking thing to Liverpool. They'll just sell one of their expendable assets worth tens of millions or, falling that, there'll be a few more academy lads down the back of the sofa.

I'm so glad the Saudis aren't throwing money at Liverpool for Salah

My pointless wild conspiracy theory if he still ends up going there is that him going there was part of the Isak deal.

They're saving £20m in the 2026/27 season by letting him go for free

Probably means he doesn’t want to go to Saudi.  Thy are the only ones that would pay a sizeable fee.

He earns £20m-30m a year.  Getting him off the wqgw bill cleanly is a win enough

I do think we need to go this way.

Player in U17 South American championship scored a hat trick last night and I checked which club he played for and it Bahia who are one of the 10 clubs in the city group.

They bought him as a 15 year old and will see to City in 2 years or sold to Girona then to City.

Annoying as it is, we should be adopting this multi-club model.

Instead, we’re a soft touch playing by the rules whilst everyone else takes the piss.

Didn’t realise Bahia were cucked. Always fancied one of their shirts as they’re on point but shan’t bother now.
