Stones and Robertson are done at the highest level imo.

I agree, but Spurs seem to have a rotten squad attitude wise, they may well improve that for them. Which is annoying.

IIRC Ashley Cole getting 'tapped up' was Arsenal grassing over an open secret and reported on like it was something unique and beyond the pale by the media, when the reality is that it goes on all the time.

Even when it's done above board it's still just their agent doing the same thing and passing it back and forth.

Shanklands quotes are horrendous, have a bit of awareness after what has happened in the last week.

The last line on his Hearts statement is such a throwaway comment man. "I wish Hearts all the success in the future", when he'll be hoping for the exact opposite as a Rangers player.

Rogers carried them at times this season, usually they didn’t look very good to me but then he would pop up and make the difference.

Stones in the hands of the Spurs medical team? His career would be over

I think he reads the game so well he'll do great alongside someone like Micky van de Ven,  however like you say their injury record on that chetty field of a pitch may go against him.

Just out of interest, Bayern only paid just over £50m for Olise who is arguably now one of the best 2 or 3 wingers in the world.

Doesn't read like that though does it? Reads like he'd rather play for those clubs than Villa despite the CL qualification.

The Sky6 are letting us play in their league, what more do you want.

Always wanted Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or maybe the big pay check which only those clubs can now afford because of financial "fair play" rules.

He's on a reported £150,000 a week at Villa, so that doesn't check out.

I imagine the extra money they can offer would be a big part of the attraction, despite the fact that two of those clubs have been run horrendously for the last few years. So the point still stands

Chelsea have a wage structure though. Their reported weekly wage on players is the same as Villa. Both £2.7m a week.

Rogers reported wage right now would put him amongst the highest earners at all of those clubs.
