We've sold Greenwood, Kambwala, Fernandez and now Pellistri for lower than expected fees but have huge sell on clauses on them all and buy back options on all but Greenwood. Still think even with the clause that it's a criminally low fee for Pellistri. He's a full international and has appearances for the first team. Wouldn't have been against us going for him, I just guess he wanted more a role in the first team than was being offered.

Menace
Its a good price for both parties tbh - if they reinvest that money they'll do well for themselves. Edit: Edited August 22 by Menace
Fezzle
Really hope teams ignore Chelsea's 15 castoffs, certainly til the very last minute at least and only offer loans with Chelsea paying the majority of wages/no fees. Fuck them and their rotten way of trading, does anyone have the lst of players? Obviously Sterling, Chilwell, Kepa, Lukaku, Petrovic? will be on it but hopefully nobody bites at their massive wages. Also please accept that bid from Ipswich, mackems would be fewming ha

He wants out, Chelsea want rid, he's 29 played nearly 550 games of football. His legs must be due to drop off soon. They have . As I posted yesterday his decline has been rapid and significant. Looks like an average keeper so still better than Dubs.

Naturally that basketcase club would chuck him in the bin straight away.

Shrewd Todd... Not surprisingly much of our woes are of our own making but if Sterling goes his £24 million cost PA will be reduced significantly in season 24/25 and eliminated totally in years 25/26&26/27 . Dr.Spaceman
Absolutely, but I doubt it's up to them. A season plodding around mid table (at best) in the Championship or a crack at the PL where you've got a real chance of making a bit of a name for yourself and establishing yourself as a decent option for a club in the lower half of the table, likely doubling your wage in the process? Tough one, that.

It’s something that will bite a significant number of clubs not just Chelsea It might be worth spending a minute or two looking at the size of other clubs squad . It might surprise you similarly look at how many players clubs have “ got off their wages “ since 1/7/24. Chillwell is slightly different in that he was given an extended contact of a year or two and to a degree so is Sterling because he was bought in as a marquee signing by the new owners albeit he has failed massively but the big wages paid to Lukaku and Kepa were bought in under RA and under his tenure were deemed not wanted the majority of players on that list of not wanted aren’t on the massive wages some are suggesting and there almost certainly will be takers for most of the others such as Broja, D Fofana, Chalobah, Anjorin etc.

He also should definitely not tell them he's unofficially going on strike until they accept the bid. That would be an awful development
