BONTEMPI
Nice. A good result with the gimps we have up front.
Gallowgate Toon
I thought Yedlin was outstanding, mom for me. But he can't defend!!! One of my favourite players.
Lenny
Quite possibly the most disciplined performance I've seen from any Newcastle side in my time watching us.

jdckelly
its quite refreshing to have a solid enough defence for once

Hanshithispantz
Take that all day, they've got some brilliant attacking talent that we basically snuffed out. Kind of depressing how little we offered in an attacking sense in the second half but we've got to remember where we are at the moment. A point against Liverpool is a good result. It cannot be emphasised enough how many points we'll lose by not having a 15-20 goal striker like. It's a fucking crime we left that window with fucking Joselu. U2
Klopp looked so pissy when Rafa went over to shake hands. Delicious.

triggs
Good point, grinding performance. Commentator I had called that Shelvey pass 'a simple, strsight ball' After 6 games, I feel pretty confident we'll be alright this season. Could've been much better with some simple investment but I don't think we'll go down. I think there's a decent chance we'll finish 7th
U2
Yedlin definitely one of those players Rafa has improved immeasurably. He was probably my MotM.

54
Great result that, one of the best defensive performances i've seen from a Newcastle side. Liverpool for all there start players offered absolutely nothing in that second half. Cracking point.

It's a fucking crime we left that window with fucking Joselu. 15-20 goal strikers are few and far between like. We could do with a couple capable of double figures at this level for a start. Guest firetotheworks
Yeah, Yedlin and Ritchie were really good. Manquillo and Atsu not so much to put it kindly, and it's a surprise they weren't targeted more.
ponsaelius
Good point. We desperately need investment in key areas of the pitch. Very frustrating.

WarrenBartonCentrePartin
Ashley, Barnes, Charnley et al can fuck off for not getting a proper 'number 10' in, like. We're pretty well organised and stable throughout but it's fucking painful how limp we are in the final third. I'll take that result, all things considering. Dave
Also, it can't be overstated how much the sense of togetherness, hard work and rewards for your effort will help us this season. We need to keep the momentum going, and that game will certainly help.
bigfella
That's probably how the last half hour of the Spurs match would have went. Yes, agree with that, would have got a point if it hadn't been for Shelveys madness. He had a good game today though.
