I’d love to know where the money is from. If PCP are putting some of their own money in then does this mean theyre in it as an investment as could be the other investors (who don’t have the money on their own)? I think I’d rather she was acting as the front for some obscenely rich owner who’s in it for the glory as opposed to more than one investor who are prepared to put money in but ultimately will want a favourable return.

See this scenario if he is his usual c*** self:

- PCP make a realistic bid based on the current state of the club

- Greedy fat c*** leaks the bid as he is wanting nearer 400 million and wants to see if there is anyone else he can try and get into the game of the 'price is right' - nobody bites

- PCP put an ultimatum to fat c*** saying they need an answer as they want to start the ball rolling for January

- Fat c*** still thinks he should be paid 400 million and tells them to up their value whilst secretly hoping for fresh bidders as he is just a f***ing fraud who doesn't give a s***

- PCP move on and start looking at other clubs to invest

- Fat c*** still in charge with no intention of investing and a p*ssed off maanger and set of supporters now revolting

- Manager leaves in the summer, club 'possibly' relegated for 3rd time in 10 years

- Crowd levels drop and fat c*** left in no mans land asks for 150 million for club nobody now interested in

He will never get a better opportunity to sell this club and get a fair price for it but he is such a c*** what are the odds he won't

At the end of the day Ashley wants to sell, PCP want to buy. There's clearly a gap in the valuations of the club but it would appear it's not that significant. No one ever accepts the first bid regardless anyway. Still think there's a mutual willingness to get the deal done and it's just a matter of 'when' and not 'if'. They'll thrash it out and we'll all be smiling. All good things....
